The more distributed computing gets, the harder it will be to shut it down, so this was a logical step for TPB. I used to be a fan of TPB but don't use them much anymore ever since I changed my home setup to use Usenet.

I think they're jumping the gun by a few years. No denying that's the direction where everything is headed but I think a transition should be smooth instead of abrupt and I think many of their subscribers will be upset with this change.

I agree with this sentiment. I try to always proofread anything I write whether I'm sending it via text message, email, or even IM/PM. I feel like if I don't stay vigilant about it my natural lazy tendencies will make me come across as too casual or unprofessional even when I need to be.

I got the iPhone 5 in the pre-order and although I do appreciate the screen increase I am starting to feel like it may be too little, too late. I saw the HTC One X screen at the local AT&T store and wished Apple offered a version in that size. My "new" 4" screen looked like a joke next to it.
