A new hurricane on Katrina Anniversary?

I know they have downgraded Isaac to a tropical storm but "spaghetti models" are showing it possibly hitting New Orleans. Now, if you remember, Hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans on August 29th 2005. Hoping they do not get hit again, but the potential is there. My husband's cousin lives in New Orleans and they are very nervous.

Hopefully it won't hit them too hard.

Lots of local stories about the anniversary of Irene which hit this area pretty hard a year ago. It was the first tropical storm I could remember ever having to really clear pretty much anything that wasn't tied down from my backyard.

One of my sisters and my niece are in Winter Haven, FL. they are under a tropical storm warning. Schools are closed, hatches battened down. Just waiting to see what transpires.
