American Idol

I thought that American Idol viewers that need a recap could just find it here. I will be posting polls on your opinions, so please stay tuned! Well, sorta! Lol.
 
ew...american idol lol. all idols actually. actually all reality tv that sets out to find "the next <insert something here>". they don't work!! all the canadian idols put out one single and disappeared never to be heard of. the only american idol i ever see is kelly clarkson, and to be quite frank she's not so great. and then with this new one, doesn't it defeat the purpose of finding the next american idol by having on people who have been and currently are in bands? AND aren't they supposed to be looking for like pop icon people like britney spears et al? 'cuz the best guys (yes i do actually mean guys) there are the ones that are from bands...and rock bands, they are grungy!! lol. well, if america wants pop to turn to rock, who am i to argue? :)
 
Plus I added this thread for my purposes too! I forget usually who is still in the competition..sorry. The times for American Idol are Tuesday on FOX at 8pm Eastern Time and Wednesday at 9pm Eastern. There are two rockers on there, and that is the only reason I watch the show b/c I want my rockers to win! Yay!
 
Don't be sorry - it's a good thread! I'm afraid to say that I don't watch, either. I may have seen it two or three times, but I don't follow it or pay any attention to it.
 
How in the hell can I delete that poll?!? Its closed but it looks retarded just sitting there!!! I am about to go nuts...lol.

i love simon! he's the only one that's willing to tell these "kids" the truth. the other 2, paula and uh, randy(?) they sit there and are all "you rock man! you were so awesome!", or at the very worst "that was ok, i didn't like the song, but there were parts where you really nailed it." they can't just come out and be like simon and "nope, no good...you have to do better than that." i agree with simon 99.9% of the time. it amazes me how much i know about american idol considering that i only watch it when my mom forces me to at dinner time lol.
 
I HATE AMERICAN IDOL!!!!
There is not a show that pisses me off more than American Idol.

1. The Judges don't decide who goes on. The producers do.
2. How a contestant sings is not a factor as to wether they go on.
3. Neither is the voting.
4. The only reason anyone goes further in the contest is because they get better ratings.
5. YES some can sing but the BEST of them get turned away because they don't "fit what were looking for" _@__@__@__@__@__@__@__@__@__@_
 
Erm, I just like the two rockers on the show! Jeez! Dont get all judgemental about the **** show! My gosh.....lay down some **** where.
 
My wife watches the show, and I was on the laptop in the living room last night as she watched. All I have to say is, it is messed up! THE FAT GUY WITH THE GLASSES SHOULD HAVE BEEN BOOTED LAST NIGHT! That black chick was HOT, and she could sing like an ANGEL! BOO for not kicking off the fat guy!
 
One of my rockers got voted off :( I am sad! Maybe Bo can rock the stage from now on! I hope he wins! VOTE FOR HIM PLEASE! I WILL LUFF YOU FOREVER!
 
I STILL don't watch it. The new scandal with Paula and an ex contestant ices the cake for me.
 
One more week left until the American Idol 2005 is chosen. I hope to GOD that Bo Bice wins!! Please, watch the last 2 episodes! This Tuesday at 8 pm Eastern Time and then Wednesday at 9 pm.
