anyone have a portable mp3 player?

I've been seeing alot of these guys~ especially the Diamond Rio mp3 player. Does anyone have one? How do they work (download music off your computer into the player?) Do you think it's better to get one of these or a mini-disc player?

Those portable mp3 players are just too expensive to buy! MD players are expensive too, but my personal opinion is that the mini-disc player would outlive the usefulness of a mp3 player. I haven't used a MD player in about a year so I've forgotten the exact capabilities, but I think you can play and record with the device which should make the MD player a better buy.

The real decision is up to you.
