Boy - that title sounds a little fishy!! I love animals. I have a cat and would like more, but significant other says "NO!!" I'd just love to come home with a kitten and DARE him not to get attached to it! I'd also like to have a little dog someday. Something small.
I have a neighbor that sees nothing wrong with letting her dog poop all over the place. It's really a nice dog, but has no disipline what so ever. I'm so nervous to let my cat out because I never know when this ding-a-ling will be out walking her dog (without benefit of a leash!!) and make a dash for the cat. For some reason this dog loves to leave little poop loaves right near my mailbox. I have to always be on the lookout, or I step right into the stuff.
I love all animals!- including cats, dogs, fish, reptiles, birds, etc.
In my lifetime, I've had birds and fishies, but none of the others yet. I would love to have a cat someday soon, though.
I currently own 4 pretty Betta fishies.
He-he! That's a great cat! I bet he owns You more, at least it looks very independent creature :yay:
Anyway, don't buy flat display, or You will offend him alot
He-he! You, girls, are too susceptive.
It is impossible to love all animals. I even can not imagine how to love those gastropodas Pulmonata Sapien, or Homo Basommatophora. Those are icky
How so Unforgiven explain this fascination? Do you study these insects? Do you have a bee hive in your back yard? Do you dissect these insects and examine them?
I have two dogs right now, but I grew up with tons of pets.
Growing up, I had 2 dogs, three gerbils, 4 snakes, variety of fish, 2 parakeets, a few lizards, a family tree of teddy bear hampsters, a regular hampster, a family of finches, my mother had a canary and one of the parakeets. The snakes were my brothers, but I was the only one playing with them (well I let the first two excape, but I'd play with the last 2 he had). He had a couple of lizards (the same you find roaming freely in florida...green and can change colors). My brother actually had two other parakeets, but one of them killed the other and he eventually gave the other away. I had a guinea pig, but I became very allergic to it and had to give it away. I helped to reaise 3 stray kittens, but I had to give them away as they got older. I'm not allergic to kittens, but I am allergic to adult cats.
So, I plan to stick with dogs for now. I'd consider getting a bird again sometime but not for a while. I'm not all that interestedin keeping fish, but maybe one day we'd get a tank and start collecting some fish.
