[align=justify]I am currently using Avast Home Edition (freeware). Thought of giving a brief review about it. Ok let me start.

One of the light-weighted Antivirus i have ever used. It doesn't suck more memory out of my computer. It runs silently and takes care of all the viruses. From the scanning to updates, everything moves smoothly. You don't need to worry about any lag.
* Virus Detection
I love the virus detection technology in it, when i download some cracks or some zip/rar files. It scans it and before starting the download if there is a virus or malware in the file, Avast pops-up saying Malware or Virus detected. This helps me to stay protected and avoid unnecessary files.
* Updates & Support
Updates for Avast are regular and when you system gets connected, it makes sure that your product is up to date and if any new version of the product comes up. It notifies us and helps us to be more secure. Support wise i haven't used Avast support much, but for free edition their dedication and effort should be appreciated.

If you are an user who is looking for a good, simple antivirus which runs without any lag and which is of freeware. Then i would recommend this to you. You won't regret it, it does take care of all the needs which most paid products does. If you are a heavy net user and person who download most.
