Today two of the ladies at my job held an hour long meeting with my boss dubbed around the office as their '**** session'. Well during the course of this session they bring up the fact that I've almost completely stopped doing their filing for them. Why? Well two reasons: 1) I've been getting a little bit busier doing other jobs. My data has gotten bigger, there are more phone calls, and more odd jobs from the bosses. 2) They are more than capable of doing it themselves as the other ladies in the other departments do it. Well I got told that I should be now spending one day a week going back and forth between the front and the far back of the office carting binders full of files, and files to be filed, because they cannot have one of them turn off their phones in order to file themselves!!! I told my boss flat out that they are the ones that should be doing this job, and it shouldn't be my obligation, and she kind of just shrugged and said: "well that's how it is." That is not how a boss should act!! I realize I'm just a temporary employee and I'm approximately 20 years younger than any of the other staff here, but dammit I want respect too! Then these ladies go around being so nice to me. You have a problem with me, then confront me about it, not the boss! Grrr... These people are so frustrating, I wish that they'd just crawl back down into their holes.
That's what happens when you work with women. Sorry fellow women, but it's true. They're nasty co-workers. That's why I pick and choose my jobs (and always stay in Administration :eusa_shif ) VERY carefully. Good luck pink - I wish you the best!
None offense taken mrsd. You are right some women get the 'power' and the just run with it and don't care who gets stepped on in the process. Women treat most other women badly, even the ones they call friends. That is the reason I do not have but one female friend. All of my other friends are guys. Y'all on here are different though. To me you aren't women and are not men, just regular, normal people who are more real than the people I see everyday. We are all different and the same, but we don't go behind eachothers backs and ridicule another person. I trust that if anyone had a problem with me here with what I say or do they would come to me and hash it out like adults. Some of the younger people on here act more mature than most of the adults I come accross on a daily basis. Maybe thats why most of us would rather play around here than to tend to daily life outside of here. People here just seem more real and less self involved. Funner too!!
Thanks mustang. I have to agree with you two. Even though msot of my 'school mates' are girls. Outside of school all of my mates are guys. Theres none of the ****ing or anything (yes theres competition but only like on consoles and things like that lol!)
It's good to come home and get on here, knowing that if you say something then someone else isn't going to **** about you, or go behind your back
To top it off, this morning I caught my boss above the one that talked to me yesterday, gossiping in the back and telling the only department that is nice to me that they have to do their own work because these angry old hags need me more.
Is that a propisition?
I keep forgetting that nighty is younger, because she is very mature. We never get those words like 2gether, and 4get it... She just seems more around our age. Nighty: you'll have to act more immature and rowdy. :D
