I blog for money. I have been blogging since 2015, however, I started making money from my blog only in 2017. I have monetized my blog with Adsense, Amazon ads, and numerous other ad networks. However, I make most of my money from adsense. I have half a dozen blogs monetized with adsense.
I've never had much success blogging for money because I feel as though you really have to find a niche that you're good at and get the viewership in to get impressions for ads. I know subscriptions have taken off a bit for blogging recently but it seems that the best and sure fire way to earn money is just through displaying ads.
I had some employment niche blogs back around 2011. It made me a few hundred a month. However, major search engines got a lot stricter, and I decided to focus on going back to university.
I would like to be able to get into earning money through blogging but my issue at the moment is a niche to choose and have the time to write for the blog whilst working on other jobs I have. I do know that if I was to put my whole effort into it I could end up making something from the blog but until I have more time, it is something that is sitting until I can get around to it. I team eager to want to start though so hopefully once I have the time I will be able to.
It was easier to blog for money in the past. I don't think that is even easy at this particular moment when you consider a lot of factors such as stringent rules around blogging recently.
