Buying a NAS

I am looking to buy a NAS to put my hard drives in to share over a wireless network.

But I don't want everyone to have write access, only me. Is there a way to do this?

If I plug the NAS into the router that will surely give everyone write access, or can you normally chose?

I think that would greatly depend on the NAS that you go with.

All I need is two bays for 3.5 inch hard drives, no fancy software or anything... Can anyone recommend one?
