As incredible as it may appear, certain insects can last months without food or water, especially during the winter. As the temperature drops, these insects' metabolism and growth slow. They go underground in search of refuge and fall into hibernation. Butterflies, for example, develop fat reserves in preparation for their inactive phase. Regarding water usage, these insects have developed excellent water conservation methods. During dry seasons, they can collect water directly from the air, ensuring survival even in extreme conditions. Are you aware of it?
