and.. why is the Republican slogan not Cheny for prez.. i'd trust cheny in a second.. bush just scares the hell out of me.. reminds me of slow people in my math/science classes..
 
Don't get me wrong - I certainly respect George W. However, I was an avid McCainiac back in the day...

Night and day, working for John McCain -- I dreamed of a McCain/Cheney ticket, and would have been so proud to be an American under such an administration. When I met and escorted Cheney in Connecticut a couple weeks back, I was struck by his honesty and consider him, second only to John McCain, as the most dignified invididual I've ever met. He has little tolerance for dramatics, and tells you the straight forward truth, and nothing more or less. A McCain/Cheney ticket would have exemplified the spirit of "Straight talk". A girl can dream....

Love that guy? I adore him! Shaking his weathered hand was like feeling a lifetime of experience and knowledge literally with the palm of my hand. It was seriously like a quasi-religious experience. I am clearly in denial -- still havent taken the bumper sticker off my car -- it's there to stay

i dont' mind george w., but i did like mccain better, and as for liberman vs. cheney, well, that's tough. i live in connecticut, and has liberman as whatever he does (we're not too enthusiastic about local politics around here) and anyways, i've seen him many times before he was going to be vice-prez. he WAS an excellent guy, totally honest, intelligent, and everything. all of a sudden....he becomes vice-prez candidate...and he becomes a real politician, a total shmuck, and a liar. so, i would go cheney, though there were many better choices for republican vice-presidantial candidate.
 
I was going to support McCain myself.

Ah well.
