Clinton Strikes a Deal

I don't know about you, but I'm glad this thing is going to be behind us. www.cnn.com reporting:

In exchange for an end to the Whitewater independent counsel probe, President Clinton publicly admitted today that he gave misleading testimony in the Paula Jones sexual harassment lawsuit.

Under the agreement with Independent Counsel Robert Ray, Clinton's law license will be suspended, but he will face no criminal charges once he leaves office. In return, Ray will end the 7-year-old Whitewater probe that has shadowed most of Clinton's two terms.

Maybe now we can forget the Clinton Era and move on.
