okay, why does my recycle bin appear empty even when it's not. the other day, i put stuff in there. i KNOW i did. then when i clicked on the folder, it's not showing anything.

well, i suggest checking what icons are set for your recycle bin. right click on your desktop, properties, effects. and that is where all those dumb icons are set. i have no idea if this will make any difference in your situation, but at least i had an idea! :tongue:
happens all the time, but when i right-click on recycle bin and click on properties i don't have that option checked.
what about the size of the bin? are you exceeding it somehow?
i've never heard of anything quite like this before... it really does sound like that box got checked, to not use the recycle bin. maybe check it, delete something, uncheck it, and see if it's normal? just a thought.
