Do you mine bitcoin?

I have always wanted to mine bitcoin by setting up my own mining rig. However, I have never been able to save enough money to buy mining equipment. My experience with bitcoin is only related to PC mining. Have you ever tried to mine bitcoin by selling up your own mining rig?

I have heard that you can mine Bitcoin but I have never attempted to do it even though I am quite curious about it. I do understand that you do need a mining PC that would be dedicated to mining bitcoin but that is all I know. I feel I need to know more about it before I even try and attempt to buy a PC that would be specifically for that.
