Ever since his departure from Barcelona football club, football fans hasn't experienced that dazzling game play that Messi always exhibits in the football pitch. Though he has won a trophy with Paris saint German and him been a particular favorite to the organizers of the world best title award. It is also in view that Messi might still be going home with the world best title at the end of the season.

Would that be a rip off or does he deserve the title if he were to be awarded this season?

Messi shouldn't even make the list of players to be nominated for the award because ever since he moved to PSG, he's no longer the player that we used to know.

Even PSG is no longer the team that they used to be. I'm not sure if it's all down to the players or coach but something is definitely wrong.

Messi hasn't performed to the occasion this time, ever since he swapped jersey from Barcelona to PSG. Maybe he can claim that spot if he sees fortune in the upcoming WC in Qatar this December.

If they give the award to Messi again just like they did the last time, I'm very sure that a lot of people would boycott the award next year. Messi never deserved it last year and he's no where near winning it now.

I don't think that Messi is anyway near coming into the top 3 this season. Even at PSG, players such as Mbappe did much better than the current world player of the year. Karim Benzema of Real Madrid has done considerably well not to be considered for the world best player of the year.

There are lots of better players that deserve the award ahead of Messi. Even Christian Nkuku deserve the award more than Messi. Karim Benzima deserves it more.

FIFA and UEFA robbed Robert Lewandowski last time when they gave the award to Messi. It was very clear they didn't want him wining it ahead of Messi.

I actually thought that I was the only one who had that feeling of what FIFA did last season. It was a shock to the world except for Messi fans by the way.
