Dogs?

Dogs.....

.....do you think they are useful is some form or fashion or do you think their only usefulness comes in the form of companionship?  Basically, do you think they have a purpose or do you think they are only meant to be pets?

Personally, I think all dogs serve some kind of purpose. Dogs tend to be companions. Some aid the blind and deaf. Other's are forms of therapy for children in hospitals Then, of course, there's other types of service dogs. Dogs are great and serve many purposes.

Some dogs can be useful, others are just lazy/useless as cats. Just depends on the breed.

I know some dogs seem that way. But I know there are some dogs that serve a great purpose in this world. Like a dog helping a person with a disability, dogs that help the police and military with their daily activities, dogs that help farmers/ranchers with herding and protecting their livestock, etc. Dogs can be trained to a great many things. Others are just content with being someone's companion.
