The American Red Cross Greater Alleghenies Blood Services Region, located in Johnstown, Pa. — just 45 minutes from the area where a hijacked plane crashed — is mobilizing its blood inventory to support national Red Cross efforts in response to today's terrorist attacks.

just a reminder to go donate blood to help the victims... even when not in times of crisis, the red cross needs more blood. it's hard to imagine how much they will end up going through in the next few days... you can find that nearest center at the red cross website. i'm sure red blood cells, platelettes and plasma is also appreciated...
