i tried waffles the other day, they weren't fantastic, but neither was any of the food at the function so i'm not taking it as a propper introduction to waffles.

i'm really tired.
 
If you did not enjoy it, I would say it was not a proper introduction. You need some good "homemade" southern style waffles.

i just ate a whole bunch of pikelets... i feel sick.
 
:lol: pikelets are like small, thicker pancakes. bite sized really. perhaps a bit sweeter.
 
mmmm...pancakes! i love 'em!

won't eat them...but i LOVE to think about eating them!
 
i make awesome pancakes, but i tend to make them thicker. maple syrup and ice cream.
it may be the reason that my husband married me.

Everytime I try some food that is southern or cooked southern style it taste like ****.



Any area of the country that likes grits has no idea what does and does not taste good
