Should RAMBUS be scared? Let's see...
They make a product that doesn't produce any significant performance increase over what's been available on the market for one year prior to it's release. They further cripple their own product by it having absurdly high latency times. They then go and charge such ridiculous licensing fees as to make their product unaffordable to most people.
Now, their sole supporter in the tech market has taken its support away and given it to the product that RAMBUS was supposed to supplant.

Should they be worried?
I would be if I were them...
