When I got the vinyl siding done last year I kept saying the next thing up was a new garage door. Took me a little while but I finally committed to it today and it will hopefully be installed within a week or so.

This is what I picked:

The door I have now has no windows in it so it will be nice to get a bit more light in the garage. It will also be nice to have a garage door that actually opens. :giggles: I'm not getting the opener - I don't park in the garage and couldn't see paying extra for it so I went with the slightly pricier glass instead.

It's kind of hard to see the current garage door in this pic - rest assured the bushes have been majorly trimmed. Once the new door is installed I'll take a pic.

Very nice! We need a new one too. DH and his buddy will install it soon.

My doors are full metal and no windows. I like it because I insulated the entire door up to the top with the insulation kits from the pink panther company. lol But I do have a tall window on the side for light.
 
Just got a call - they're installing the door on Friday. (I have the day off so that works out well.)
 
No pictures yet :hides: but it's in the process. The old door is out of there and they've started putting the new one in. Never knew they put this stuff in one panel at a time. I thought somehow they'd just slide it up. (I re-wrote that sentence a few times and it still sounds dirty. :giggles: )
