To say that Canadians like small cars is about as clichéd as pointing out our allegiance to Timmie’s, hockey and more hockey, while drinking a large Timmie’s.
We’ve dug small cars far longer than our friends to the south who are just starting to realize that those polite Canadians have been hiding something cool, again.
Something that they may actually want (note to USA: you can keep Howie Mandel).
As polite as we can all collectively be, those who scribble about cars in the True North tend to notice the contenting issues that can occur for cars sold in North America, when a market as large as the U.S. is essentially dictating what will/will not appear as standard equipment (do heated exterior mirrors REALLY cost that much?).
While we may not have been privy to the boardroom banter, we can tell you that Nissan Canada wasn’t quiet about what needed to happen for the 2014 Versa Note equipment list.
