Generic Prozac intro

Sorry that the link didn't work to this story. Basically, Prozac will not be controlled by just Eli Lilly anymore. The pills were very expensive ($2-4 each I think) now a generic version is available. Tha's good news to some folks

Now for the allergy pills to be generic, dammit!!

I actually didn't realize Prozac had been around long enough for generics to be available.

yeah.. now barr pharmacuticals has the patent for the generic 20mg of prozac.. so prices should drop about 33%.. estimate i heard on CNN..

Eli Lilly has been getting $2billion a yr when they had the patent on prozac.. most people thought that they're earnings would drop after their prozac patent ran out.. but analysts expect their revenues to grow even more after this.. big **** pharmacutical company.. they got like 6 more drugs coming out.. dunno what they're for though..
