Remember when I posted a few months ago about gaining weight? About how I was already underweight before losing 13lbs when I had mono this year? Well, I was put on medication to gain weight and I'm proud to say that I've gained almost 11lbs this past month! Only 17 more pounds until my goal weight! Woo hoo! :D
Never really had that problem lol. I haven't tried to lose or gain any weight, I've always liked being my size. While I'm not athletic I do happen to be rather intimidating in stature. Up until you get to know me at least lol.
I have never really had to much of an issue with my size, either. That was until January when I got mono and lost more weight. It was then I realized exactly how much of a problem it was.
fords8, how did she gain weight?
She ate better and did something else. I don't remember what it was. If you go to the doctor, they can help also. If she didn't gain any, they would have put her on pills.
It's all about how our metabolism work when we eat, and this varies a lot from person to person. Thus why some people try to lose weight whilst others strive to gain some.
Well done Danielle, sorry to hear that you were ill and glad that you are getting better. How was that mono diagnosed, was it confirmed via a blood test?
Thanks everyone!
Fergal, the mono wasn't confirmed by a blood test (couldn't afford it), but it was going around at work and I had all of the classic symptoms, plus one that was a dead give-away of mono... a swollen spleen. I had 2 different doctors tell me that they were 100% certain that I had mono and a blood test wasn't necessary.
