Edit: Fixed that problem. Took me a while, but it's done.

Now, I have a new problem. My video card, which is now installed. But when I go to open The Sims, now it just comes up with the title screen, then crashes when it's supposed to start loading. Any ideas?

What kind of monitor do you have?

Are your video card drivers installed correctly?

Have you installed the monitor INF file specific to your monitor?

hmm.. sounds like your video card isn't installed correctly.. right click on the "My COmputer" icon and click on properties.. go to the Device manager tab.. make it list your display driver and see if there's a ! or a ? over it..
