What's new

HAHAAAAA Jodi Arias!

I think it's crazy how some people only wanted her to get manslaughter.

Living in Phoenix, I saw more then my fair share of this case. I have to admit though I was somewhat surprised they got first degree murder, not that I didn't think it was deserving just that this isn't an easy penalty to get. I really thought they would find her guilty of second degree murder, so the verdict did surprise me somewhat. As for the penalty stage, I'm not really in favor of the death penalty I never really have been, but I guess I can understand why some want it so badly. But thing is even if she gets death, she won't be killed the very next day, odd are she will spend years on death row, if not the remainder of her life there. In some ways I can also understand why the family of the victim doesn't want her sentence to life in prison, because there is always a chance with this one that she can be paroled if the judge states it.
