Overall I feel we've had a quite line of incompetent presidents, its almost to the point people expect our presidents to fail, either that or people are setting them up for failing.
Well regardless it will always be looked upon that President Obama gave the go ahead so Bush will never get the credit nor in reality should he. Bush could have gotten him and chose to screw around as far as that goes. There were several opportunities in which he had a chance and did not take them or took them to late. The funny thing is we can follow drugs to their source, but we couldn't find a head terrorist.Frost said:The only problem I have with that is...yes under the Obama administration is Bin Laden gone....just under Bush's policies. It's really a win for Bush that happened during Obama's term and he jumped on the credit boat for.
That is what we are here for. Everyone should pay attention to what the politician do. It is your future that is at stake as well as mine.Nicholas said:I won't be putting much input into this forum, but I love the fact that it is here. I won't be posting due to my political ignorance, so I'm glad you guys are able to educate me lol.
Thanks for that!
Sadly I would have to say bush is worst. Even if Obama has been doing a crappy job. Bush is the one that started all the bullshit.Chris said:Obama sucks just as much as Bush 2 did but even worse. The last good semi-good President we had was Reagan.

You know me Frost I am not a big fan of Bush I will give him credit where credit is due though I think both him and Obama are both bad President's.
I taught myself civics and still do everyday. You were taught in school that Lincoln did a good thing freeing the slaves (which I agree with). Though it could be debatable because in reality the parts of the south were fazing slavery out though wanted to do it on their own timetable. Which is understandable theynwanted the same rights given to the Northern states. They did not bash the Northern states for doing away with slavery. Where they did bash them is for breaking the law and harboring runaway slaves which the Northern States were doing. So the South did not like it and stood up for their rights even though stupid rights, rights none the less that should have been given to them. Schools teach a rainbows and unicorn history class. One must expand their own knowledge on our history in order to see what they missed.Nicholas said:Now that I'm a little older, I understand that, my school did not do a good job of preparing us for politics, we did have a civics course but other than that we didn't have much.
That is the problem people place blame without knowing everything. The economy only a small part of that is Bush's fault. The majority started with Clinton and his repeal of the glass-speilman act. I think that is the name I am tired. That started the ball rollong. Then Clinton started expanding who could get home loans. Bush helped also he changed certain laws, and expanded the ability of people to get mortgages who really should not be able to get them.Jordan said:Sadly I would have to say bush is worst. Neither of them deserve credit for it. It was the team of people who been tracking him for over 10 years who deserve the credit. Besides, Bush had warnings of what Bin laden was going to do and did nothing about it.
A place to debate everything and anything!
