Hello

Are you living in a smart city?

Do you happen to live in Ithaca, N.Y.? If so, you're probably a genius. Hey, you don't have to thank us. There's a study to prove it! A new study completed by Lumosity ranks the 100 smartest cities in America.

The small college town otherwise known as Ithaca, N.Y. ranks No. 1 on the list... but there are more brainiac cities to boot. The top 10 rounds out with State College, PA (#2), Lafayette-West Lafayette, IN (#3), Iowa City, IA (#4), Ames, IA (#5), Ann Arbor, MI (#6), Bloomington, IN (#7), Madison, WI (#8), Lawrence, KS (#9) and Pullman, WA (#10.)

Check out Lumosity's study for the full list of 100 cities.

The study used data from more than 3 million Americans between the ages of 18 and 75, who played a handful of brain-training games by Lumosity. The games evaluated performance in five cognitive areas: memory, attention, problem solving, flexibility and processing speed.

I live in Stuart, FL which is more or less Horse Country. In you go north you have Port Saint Lucie, South Palm Beach. It is not to crowed here and it is a mix of rich and middle class.

I looked at the study and the only city they had listed in NC was Chapel Hill, ranking 18 out of ~1300
Well that can't be to bad 18 out of over 1000 cities. You must be pretty smart :P

Thats me right there, though I claim to be more religious than my peers.
ha ha ya, when I seen the photo I thought of ym self right away. However compared to you i would not be religious at all. I just find it to be a war starter, and country hating thing. Not to mention, I'm more of a scientific guy.

Yea I love science, religion interests me but I do understand where you are coming from war starter for sure, think back to the Crusades, taking up the cross and jihad.

I'm in Indianapolis. Bloomington is about 60 miles south, and has Indiana University, so I can believe them being in the top 10.

While Indianapolis is 30th. D:

Lucky them. I live in Saint Louis and I honestly feel that most of the people around me are pretty stupid. If you were to throw a rock you would probably hit at least 50 dumb people before it hit the ground.
