for tomorrow night. Make it, bake it, buy it, whatever.

I want something different. With this group, cheese doesn't go over well. I'm stumped

chips and salsa? my go to appitizer probably wont work for you ifn they dont like cheese block of velveta, jar of salsa, pound of cooked hamburger meat insert in crock pot and melt serve with tostitos but fritos work better

Black Bean dip??
I will have to go find recipe if your interested!
Off top of my head it's like 1 clove garlic, 2 cans black beans and a jar of salsa!

Bacon wrapped Carr crackers(or some type of water crackers).

Wrapped a piece of bacon around the cracker and bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes. There are a few variations:

1. sprinkle with parmesan cheese right after removing from the oven.

2. pat brown sugar on bacon prior to baking for a sweet version.

Or anything you can think of that's sounds yummy.

These are awesome

DO - AHEAD LITTLE PIZZA APPETIZERS
1 lb. Velveeta cheese
1 lb. hot pork sausage
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 tbsp. ketchup
1/4 tsp. garlic salt
1 tsp. oregano
2 loaves light (not dark) party rye bread

Fry sausage and drain. In a separate pan, melt cheese and add remaining ingredients, then include sausage. Place spoonful of mixture on each slice of party rye. Put slices on cookie sheet and freeze. When frozen, individual slices can be stored in freezer bags until needed. Bake frozen slices on an ungreased cookie sheet at 450 degrees for 10-15 minutes.

Something a little fancier that I make.

Grill a beef tenderloin to med./rare. then slice very thin. Slice a loaf(ves) of French or Italian bread then put on a sheet and put in the oven for a few min. to toast it. Put a little white shredded cheese like Prov. on the bread then put a slice of the beef then drizzle with Hollandaise sauce (packet) and serve. It's soooo goood!

Texas caviar ( black beans, corn, tomato.... ) and chips?
Rachael Ray's Swiss cheese and bacon dip? Soooooo yummy, but too cheesy?
Hummus and pita chips?
Spinach dip and Hawaiian bread or veggies?

Roll any type of lunch meat with any type of cheese in a cresent roll. Bake according to cresent roll package. I have done ham and colby jack slices. I have done grilled chicken with shredded cheddar. I have done ham with swiss slices. My family loves them.

How about pigs in a blanket? Wrap little smokies in crescent dough. bake. serve with barbecue sauce for dipping.

You guys are GREAT! I will some day try all these recipes but for this group tomorrow night, I'm going with the salsa roll-ups. One doesn't eat this, another eats only smushed chickpeas, this one has a - you get the picture. Thank goodness we are going out for the main course.
