How many sports are carried out in Olympics?

I have been trying to recollect the number of sports that's carried out in the Olympics tournament but I can't seem to come out with the right number.

Do you guy haha an idea?

Olympics has about 33 sports events included. Adjustment usually takes place every year, so expect the next edition of Olympics to get additional event or substraction, which will be stagged in 2024 or 2025.

I wouldn't know the number of sports but I think it changes from year to year. According to google there are 33 sports in the summer olympics

I am in agreement- its 33 events in the olympics. From my limited knowledge I think they swap some of the event each time so that different/new sports have the opportunity to be in the olympics.

I don't think that it's changed from 33 for years now. If they are going to be adding new sports to it, the whole world will know.
