How you hide scars?

I was wondering how you hide your self harms scars from people without having long sleeves? I hate going out with short sleeves because everyone can see. I've looked up lots of videos for it and I've tried makeup but nothing has really worked. I'd be so grateful if someone could come up with an answer, thank you.

I've never had visible scars at all and the ones I did have were barely there as I never cut, just burned/scratched. I think that the best thing for you to do is to just deal with the short sleeves and don't make so much effort to hide. Lots of people get scars in all sorts of ways. I have scars amongst SH ones from my cat so you can just make an excuse up if anyone bothers to ask. Try not to worry, most people won't notice. However, you could try wrist bands maybe? Or something similar? Do you have any band bands? haha

If you don't mind the grunge look you can write on your arms. Big text with a sharpie haha.

But other than that I have no idea. Sweat bands or plasters maybe? I mean plasters mean you have cuts but at least they can't see they're SH.

I do have wrist bands but they aren't on my wrists, they are all up my arm and down my legs. But thanks so much for replying and trying to help! :)

Haha yeah, sharpie tattoos. xD Plasters are actually a good idea! Thanks for that, I might try it, even though I do have a lot of scars. I do have a few cuts also. Thanks!

As Lauren said, not bothering to hide your scars is probably the best thing to do. You're going to have to tackle showing bare arms at some point, so maybe it's best to start sooner rather than later? It's pretty difficult to begin with, but most people don't even notice, and if they do they're usually polite enough not to point them out/question them.
If you have cuts you don't feel comfortable showing until they're healed, try sweat bands, bracelets, wrist bands, arm warmers. Wear an elastic bandage and say you've hurt your wrist.

Yeah, now that it's summer, I'm getting forced to wear short sleeves lol. It's hard but I've done it before which means I can do it again I guess. Thanks for the suggestions, I might try those out. :)

There are lots of products in the market that can help scars fade, so you can use those to make the scars fade a little quicker.
But in the meantime, you'll just have to deal with wearing your arms as they are.
I used to know a lot of people who just wore a bunch of bracelets and arm warmers to cover their arms.
