Hey I saw this in the paper hope its ok to share here.

British nature has fallen on tough times. A new biodiversity report by 40 top experts has revealed that the last 12 months have been "apocalyptic" for British wildlife. DEFRA, Natural England and the Environment Agency all agree: butterfly, bird and bee numbers are down, invasive species, dwindling chick numbers and death rates are up and more species than ever before are being pushed further north

I've always been a wildlife lover. From an early age my poor parents were forced to open their home to jars of garden and pond dwelling visitors, sweep up crumbs from my 'feed the local wildlife' picnics and pull up oak saplings from the vegetable patch. Thirty years later, I'm lucky enough to have an acre of garden which has become my own personal nature reserve.

I do wish more people cared about the place around us. Hate people that drop litter on the floor.
