Another tragedy. I hope everything is alright to be honest and that they are all fine. They really need to improve their planes safety and record

A plane carrying 54 people has disappeared over the Indonesian province of Papua.
Trigana flight IL267 failed to arrive in Oksibil from Sentani as scheduled after contact was lost 33 minutes after take-off.

The internal journey would normally take 45 minutes. The aircraft, with 44 adults, five children and five crew on board, was due to arrive at 3.16pm local time (7.16am UK time). The Trigana Air Service is one of many Indonesian airlines banned from operating in the European Union for safety reasons.

The fact that this plane is banned in the EU just speaks for itself really. Their safety regulations must be disgusting to be honest.

It's not the only Indonesian carrier banned in the EU either. There are three others.

Anyway, plane's not missing anymore. :(

Yeah apparently some villagers have found wreckage from the plane on some mountains. Not the first time something similar has happened on the route. Hope there are atleast some survivors.

Not good it is, i know all types of planes can go missing in weather, but what it has that safety problem it's a lot more dangerous

It's sad that it has happened again really. Hope that these kind of things don't happen again. R.I.P

I don't think this will be the last time we see it, the safety regulations in some of these places are pathetic
