1. Go to http://speedtest.net.
2. Choose a server (Green triangle means your closest test server).
3. Click 'share my result'.
4. Click on forum once it stops, and copy the code.

I think the speed also depends on what traffic the server is undergoing at that time. I feel that test results will vary quite a lot if tested at different times.
Funny this thread was created... I just found out earlier that I have 10Mbps when I should be having the ****ty 24Mpbs we're paying for.
Hopefully, this week I'll have 100Mpbs though, new router and all...
I am also waiting for 100MBS. It turned out my (old) modem was limited to 20 MBS. I have a new modem now and I am just waiting for the ISP to switch the service over to 100mbs. :D
