Is football being monopolized by the richest teams?

Should there be a cap on how much money can be spent by a club on an individual player?

We have seen Neymar sold from Barcelona to PSG for near 200million euros and his 18 year old loanee colleague Mbappe being priced at 180million euros. Is football going in the wrong direction? I am a celtic fan and we played PSG in the group stages of the Champions League in 2017. We are both champions of our countries and deserve to be playing in the same competition but when Celtic FC can only afford 4million for a player when PSG can afford 50 times that amount I really don't see how that is fair. Over two legs we were beaten 5-0 and 7-1. The gulf is far too big for teams to be facing each other in club football's most prestigious competition.

What do you think?

100% corporation sponsorship and personal investment into teams has surged the EPL to its greatest hieghts even more so with foreign owners, you look abroad at teams like PSG Marseille AC Milan being took over by people with huge pockets the limitless spending from teams like Man City too there should be caps on spending and wages it wont happen because of what companies are involved with football even players are marketed and branded its a disgrace.
