That may explain why the British automaker filed a trademark application for the name "XQ" with the United States Patent and Trademark Office in January, hinting that it plans to unveil an all-new crossover vehicle.
When contacted by MSN Autos, Jaguar officials declined to comment on whether the XQ name would grace an upcoming crossover.
