I was watching wrestling with my friend the other day and an argument ensued that wrestling is just acting and the beating and injuries are not real. While I think wrestling is real, he says otherwise. What do you think about this?
Wrestling comes with a lot of acting and well scripted performance to give the audience a more entertaining experience. Most of the stunts performed are done to avoid real damage made on the bodies of the wrestlers.
Some of the stunts may look so real, but were done after many long hours of practice so it could look so perfect and have the feeling that it is causing a lot of damage to the bodies of the wrestlers.Oh! So, it is basically to entertain the fans and nothing more about inflicting pains on the opponents. I was worried when they always advise fans should not try the stunts at home, but I have been cleared of doubts by your comment.
It's the kind of match stipulations that's been played would tell you if the match is going to be a real one or just their normal usual.I think that some part of what they do is real. It's why they always tell viewers to not try anything they do at home. Although, they have so many actors nowadays.
It might be a mix of real happenings and acting. I'm not sure. In other words, things are planned but spontaneous things occur.
A place to debate everything and anything!
