It's Friday...SUP?!!!

I'm watching a hallmark movie. Beyond the Blackboard. Wish I didn't miss the beginning.
DD13 is writing a paper for her confirmation. she's not even enrolled yet and the paper is due tomorrow. Classes don't even start until September. She has to submit a typed paper about her saint name.

Comedy Central has the Roast of Charlie Sheen on, and Inside Man is on Oxygen.

That's what I've been watching. SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO not PC which is why I love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!:cartwheel::cartwheel::cartwheel:

Dude I ****in love it!!! :hiphip:

That is one that NEVER gets old. That was the first time I heard of Anthony Jesselnik and that is one funny ****!!

NICE!!! I was wondering. :)

Sooo.............hot as in I could enjoy it with the volume off or should I keep it on (low)?

There is a story line but for me it certainly took a back seat to the dancing. I don't typically like guys dancing all stripper like but I have to it was hot.

That Channing Tatum kid is very talented..I don't remember the Sugar Shack being this hot!

Lmao...the sugar shack! Is that still in WI? I went to the one in IL...
I want to see that movie!

My bachellorette party was at the Sugar Shack (WI). It was a night.............OMG................I have pics............have shared one or two here. It was nothing like what Magic Mike looks like.

We went to see the Scorpions tonight at the Charter One Pavillion. It is a really nice venue.

While we were out, Sadie got hit by a car. My mom didn't crate her before trying to take the kids out. She ran out, to the neighbors and then into the street. She has a bunch of stitches, I am sure she hurts. She bled all over my house. She has the cone of shame which she hates. What a night for my mom and the kids.

OH NO!!! It's been a rough week for some pups :pout:

Get Well wishes and belly rubs (as long as it doesn't hurt there) for Sadie girl :huggy:

Thanks Mary. I will be sleeping on the couch since she can't climb the stairs. Poor thing needs nearly constant attention.

Chris I'm very sorry to hear about Sadie. I hope she's feeling a bit better this morning.

Did you have fun seeing Scorpioins? Is your mom doing ok? how are the kids handling it? I'd be a wreck! :(

Most kids gets excited about picking a name but not my DD. Ah Whatever, Christina-that is the name of our parish. Well everything you read about Christina is like "not much is known" and what is know doesn't seem saint worthy. 'sup with that? And the paper had to be like a page and a half so of course I had to help with the stretching out to make it that long. Funny thing is the one article we read was printed directly on our church's website word for word and the kids were expected to use many different resources.

Scorpions was great. I have always heard they are an outstanding live act and it's true. Set list was a little predictable, but still really great. I find it amazing that at their age, Klaus and Rudolph put on such a great show with such energy. (They are both 63) Tesla was the opener and I am really glad I didn't actually pay to see them. They are playing in McHenry for Pioneer Days (?) or something like that. If anyone here is going, don't expect much for your money. Poor Frankie Hannon ate all the pies. Jeff Keith sounds like Cartman. Not as much as Don Dokken, but it ain't pretty, plus his stage banter is total **** chills bad.

The venue is amazing. Charter One Pavilion. It is right next to the Adler Planetarium. Sits right between the harbor and the lake. It is completely outdoors. The view of the city from my seat was beautiful. The storm started rolling in towards the end of the show. The lightning actually added to the show. Rain held off until the end of the show. Didn't rain much though.

My mom is okay, she feels bad about the whole thing. Says it's her fault for not crating the dog. To be fair though, she didn't expect Sadie to bolt. Sadie normally does that to get to either me or my mom. Andrew actually opened the door. He felt bad about that too. He has been in a little trouble for just opening the front door and the dog getting out, but she hasn't run into traffic in a little while. THis is not the first time she has run across the street, just the first time she wasn't lucky. The kids were upset, but the vet told my mom they could leave while they worked on Sadie, so they went to the splash pad and McDonalds. When they got back Sadie was patched up and not bleeding everywhere. Poor Sadie ran up to our room after getting hit and wouldn't come to my mom, tried to bite her. I haven't even been up there to assess the damage. Spent the night on the couch downstairs keeping her company. Has not been an easy night.

Sadie wants to get up on the couch but the vet said not to let her. I have to go over to my mom's to open the garage sale this morning and have no idea what I am going to do with her.
