It's Friday...SUP?!!!

We went to see the Scorpions tonight at the Charter One Pavillion. It is a really nice venue.

While we were out, Sadie got hit by a car. My mom didn't crate her before trying to take the kids out. She ran out, to the neighbors and then into the street. She has a bunch of stitches, I am sure she hurts. She bled all over my house. She has the cone of shame which she hates. What a night for my mom and the kids.

Hope Sadie is better today! :(

The view from our seats at the show.

I guess this will show up when it finishes uploading.

:huggy: :huggy:

:huggy: :huggy: Poor little pup. That really sucks. Do you think she's feeling a little better today? Did she get any doggie ibuprofen?

It's impressive to hear that Scorpions still brings it \m/ \m/ I'm not surprised to hear about the condition of Tesla though  My Dad is a HUGE Beach Boys fan (ugh I can really do without) and with their "comeback", he groans and says they should have stayed retired! Dad, what do you expect out of guys that age that partied so hard once upon a time?

Busy weekend for us and I hear there's a cool front coming in tomorrow. High of 93 instead of 101 ... Woohoo!

Tonight: laundry and watching a movie. Yep, I'm exciting like that. :-) I was out all day with the kids so don't want to do much tonight.

Saturday: blueberry picking and my niece's birthday party. Guess it's a "dance party" ... my boys aren't too excited about the dance party LOL. Dinner out with my Dad afterwards.

Sunday: picnic in the afternoon and then we have tix for Ravinia in the evening. We are meeting up with 3 other families so it will be a big group. Hopefully the weather is nice and we won't be baking (or get rained on) while we eat dinner and are sitting outside.

NOTHING ON THE ****ING CALENDAR! WOO HOO!!!!!

So the girls have friends over for a sleepover (pray for me), and I'm doing some laundry, screwing around on the computer...yadda yadda. DH went to work (poor guy..at a bakery with no air). I ain't doin a thang!

I rearranged the paper annex to fit the Hefty bags in and had a beer (it's roasting on the sun porch where the annex is), mistah brought home fresh grilled burgers with bacon and cheese in them from Mariano's  and now I just made a martini and am chilling with you guys while mistah watches TV. I think he wishes I'd put the laptop away but there is nothing good on.

Nice! I'd love to have a martini...but won't drink when we have little guests.

waiting for DH to finally get home...then eating cilantro lime chicken tacos and then we are going with Morkie to the Taste of Antioch Days. Only DH doesn't know yet :giggles:

Nuttin' much. DH has been gone all day at a charity golf outing. He left before I got up and I haven't heard from him all day.

I am so lucky to have my DH. He is really bad at painting (he agrees), so I usually do all the painting. But tonight he is painting the ceiling of a room in the old house for the buyers (it's in the contract) so I don't have to be exposed to more paint fumes than necessary. We didn't know I was pregnant when we wrote the contract so we both knew I would do it. I know it's Friday and I'm sure he wants to just come home and chill, but instead he's out working, picking up my slack.

To me, this is love. So it's this kind of thing I remember when he says/does something dumb or when I buy my own birthday/Christmas gift, hand it to him to wrap and tell him this is what he bought me.
