I tried ones someone else made and she 'splained what to do - and that the directions would be on the cherry bag - but lo-and-behold no directions.

When i would drink,i always had to have 5 cherries in my Long Island Iced Tea.I had around 5 a night so that was alot of cherries & calories.
Tomorrow (I should say in about 30 more minutes) will be our 6th wedding anniversary, and I just realized that I didn't even buy a card for DH... I've been so busy with my mom's party, that I never got a chance to think about getting a card. I didn't forget it, I just forgot to get a card.:surrender:

Any chance that you're a scrapbooker? If you are then you probably have the supplies to make a really nice card.
Sorry my churn needed me. Um....what sugar are you talking about? The maraschino cherries are sweet enough. All you need to do is drain the juice and pour in Southern or Jack and let 'em sit.

out: I won't see him until later in the afternoon anyway. My sister is picking me up @ 6:30am to help set up for the party. He is staying with the kids, and will meet me in the afternoon. Maybe I'll run to the store in the morning. I just can't believe I didn't get him a card.
Is he sleeping? Just run out to a drug store and get one.
Or print a nice one from a site and write a nice paragraph building up his ego then he'll not notice the fact that it's not store bought. Men always trip over their ego.

Yeahhhh...I didn't use marachino cherries.
I used a bag of frozen pie cherries, just like I was told. I SHOULD have used marachino ones, but I've been on a mission for these mysterious "frozen ones w/the receipe on the bag" forever. So when I finally FOUND a big bag of them, I got 'em.

Got 2 jars brewing. Captn' and Vodka. I likes my cherry cokes, so I figure the Captn' should go good w/that. Well, the Captn' should MAKE cherry coke, that is.
We'll see. If I have enough of them I won't care what they taste like.
I never do cards. I've written little poems or that kind of thing, but it just kills me to buy cards (even before I bought cereal by the gross.)

I used to pop a coupla those babies between classes in college. We kept a large jar in our dorm fridge. :bowing:
