When i would drink,i always had to have 5 cherries in my Long Island Iced Tea.I had around 5 a night so that was alot of cherries & calories.

SO you had FIVE Long Islands a night? I can't get over this, since I know it's all alcohol, I'd be dead of alcohol poisoning. I love a good Long Island...but I think 2 would waste me. wow.

DS woke up with 102.6 temp this am, but after Tylenol, it's 100.7 and going down. We're going to other DS's scrimage in a bit. He's spunky and playing so I figure what's the difference if he plays at home or plays at the park where the game is or sits on my lap if he gets tired.

um...yeah...unless it's an all day thing...then maybe, but in one evening, that's a lot of booze!

Well it's just a fever.....nuttin the doc can do. We'll get that "It's a virus. It has to run it's course." jazz. I don't run my kids to the doc unless it's an ear infection or bad throat or sumptin like that. Or of course if the fever lasts a couple more days.

So the Tylenol worked great, he wanted to go to his brother's game so we did then he felt horrible so MIL took him to her house to "baby" him. I just called....he's doing fine.

Yeah the heat is a **** here. :surrender:

I used to pop a coupla those babies between classes in college. We kept a large jar in our dorm fridge. :bowing:

Know what's a funny thing to 'splain to a professor? Why you're lips are stained bright blue after dowing pitchers of electric blue margaritas at Chi Chis for lunch then going to an afternoon class.

Thanks....couple hours after Tylenol (last of my old bottle) I just took his temp again.....down to 101.3. out: :surrender:

Gonna give him CVS brand Motrin now and see if that helps. There's a festival at the end of our block that DH took our older son too to get dinner and lil man is soooo pissed off that he couldn't go too.
