Hey everyone,

I wanted to get your opinions on laser keyboards. I saw one advertised and really like the concept, but how practical are they? In particular, I have been looking at the Celluon Magic Cube. It retails around $160 (from what I have seen) and on the fence about the purchase. I have a Kindle fire and plan on also getting refurbished ipad for work. Any help would be great. Thanks.

Oh God, i just came to know this technology exists. Anyway my thought is do a thorough review check in websites and go for it..

these things always looked awesome .. i heard about 'em like 4-5 years ago, same one you're referring to if i'm not mistaken, but either way, it seems like a cool concept .. hell i wanted one just cuz it's awesome factor is thru the roof ! i mean come on now, laser projected keyboard? WOW! lol .. anyway, i'd say give it a test drive first if u can just to make sure it'll meet your expectations and see if they're are any unforseen glitches..imho though, it's a slick lil device but there's really no diff between a ipad keyboard or a las-board, they both take up the same amount of space in the long run .. just one looks cooler lol ;] hope this helps!

Do you carry any weapons?

Safety is the #1 things these days. Do you carry any weapons on you? I don't own any guns but I do live in an area that is a high tourist zone and full of gangs. It's a pretty dangerous city to live in honestly and it's overlooked because it's one of the bigger cities. Yet a few years back it competed with Camden and Chicago for having the title "murder capitol of America". Which brings me to my point. I don't feel safe out and about and I feel like I need an option if something does happen. That's why I'm considering getting 2 push daggers as I feel it would be the best solution.

Easy to use, close combat weapon, versatile. It's small enough where it doens't violate any laws and as long as it's a one sided blade then the law doesn't consider it a dagger. So it works well for the defensive purpose I'm keeping them for. Or going to keep them since I haven't bought them yet.

What about you do you carry anything?

Here is a picture of the one I'm buying (2 of them, one for each fist).

I don't. Most weapons is illegal here in Canada. Although we are allowed to carry pocket knifes. As long as the blade is not to long. I forget the exact length it must be under.

Regarding the ones your interested in, They look to be small ha ha. How much is it for something like that? and where did you end up buying them at?

I carry around a sharp pocket knife thats for sure, I am one paranoid dude, so I have pocket knives with me at all times lol.

See I never really felt the need to carry weapons. Maybe because I live in a small town, but still. Even in the cities. Canada has laws. We not allowed to carry weapons anyhow. Besides the small pocket knifes with a certain blade length which I mentioned.

Yea the blade length in America is 4 inches I think, but even so, living in a small town, never know when an outsider rolls around :P

Ya but you guys are also allowed to carry guns :O To me I think that is a little extreme. However, I can't really say that if I don't want a bunch of yankies on my head :P

Lol, yea I believe you have to be the age of 21 with a license to carry a concealed weapon, its part of what our nation was founded upon :)

When I can get a gun I will certainly been getting one. lol.

Well I found two blog addons for XenForo. Both are paid.

http://xenforo.com/community/resources/better-blogs.1055/ and
http://xenforo.com/community/resources/xi-blog.713/

Not sure which is better or even if it is worth the pay. However they will look nothing like the way you want it to :P

what you may be looking for is a wordpress bridge. In which case I found another two:

http://xenforo.com/community/resources/xenscripts-wordpress-to-xenforo-bridge.604/

Again both are paid.

Same here, once I'm old enough that is, I'll start saving now, I'm one paranoid dude and this would ease the pain lol

Seems everyone carries weapons lol. I don't see a need to carry a gun though. Even if it was legal here. Just seems the more people with guns on the streets, the more excuses they will have to use it.

Yeah but you live in Canada. It's a tad different. You wear the wrong color of shirt in some of these cities and you could get shot. I'd rather have the ability to defend myself if I need to. I won't want to be in the situation where I find myself in a situation and think...wow here's that reason I was looking for. Besides. As an EMT I am commonly seen as a hero...but if you get arrested and you are pissed off...I still have to check you out. If you are being involuntarily committed to the psych ward...that's my job. I've met real and legitimate crazies (some suicidal...a few homicidal) and I don't want to meet them again. The most danger you guys seem to be in is the occasional stray moose. :meh:

Growing up a bad neighborhood I can confirm the wrong colors, people get jumped and even shot for wearing the wrong colors, which is why Im so paranoid.

I suppose that could be a valid reason lol. I certainly would not want to get shot just because I wore a certain coloured shirt ha ha.

Though, I suppose that is what makes the US and Canada different. We do have gangs, I don't see what country would not. But for you guys to feel the need to ahve to carry guns in order to feel safe is just insane. Canada FTW!
