Love helps or destroys

So does Love play a great role in helping a guy/girl to grow or it totally destroys their life??

I would say it does both, i have seen many of my friends who have lost their girl friend and started worrying or lost track..

But few came out and understood the value of life and have moved on..

I can't comment much about it as i never really loved anyone :D..But i feel it does both ways
