Do you know why karate, judo, kung fu, Tai chi, Wushu, Tae Kwan Do, and other similar forms of combat are classified as Martial Arts? In other words, why games, where individuals do hand-to-hand combat or fight with swords or batons, are not the games of fighting, instead classified as arts? That's because in ancient times, especially in Asia, war was some sort of art form.

I have taken some lessons on Tae Kwan Do only but I didn't get enough on it. But I know a lot about fist fighting especially like they do in the street. This is because I was born and raised in the ghetto, so the street life grew with me. It might not be martial art but I sure know how to fight and defend myself.

I took tae-kwon-do during my high school and university years. I also learned a lot of self-defense moves. Anyway. it's good for coordination. I guess it helped me with learning drums later on.

There was a level where they wanted to take my learning of tae-kwon-do then, I had to pull out. It's only pros that do that and I had no plans on becoming a pro.
