So what is the most used and favorite media player according to you.

For me it is WMP and VLC(the best)

By far VLC. I think Microsoft has realized this as well; considering WMP will not be present in Windows 8.

I have never run into a file format that VLC can't handle....yet.

I am still using Windows Media Player because it is easy to control and it is enabling me to watch CDs and DVDs on my computer.
