This was done by one of the guys on my forum, RMD, just thought I'd share.

Well, I FINALLY got around to putting together my annual mock draft, but this year I put a different spin on things. Rather than trying to guess what teams will actually do on draft day and listening to all the "experts" predictions on where players will go, I decided to put together a draft solely based on my own draft board and team needs listing. So when you read this mock, think of it as me being the GM of all 32 teams. This is the basis I'll use to grade everyone's draft a few years from now as I compare my own draft for each team compared to how those teams actually did. Should be interesting to see how I compare to everyone else a few years down the road.

ROUND 1
# Sel# Team Player

1 1 San Francisco Aaron Rodgers

No surprise here. Rodgers has been my #1 prospect ever since Matt Leinart decided to skip the draft and a few workouts in shorts aren't enough to change my mind now.

1 2 Miami Ronnie Brown

Thank heavens this isn't really going to happen as Aaron Rodgers is the ONLY guy I'm interested in at #2 overall. If he isn't there though, then I want to trade down. But it's too tough to predict trades when doing a mock so I'll just give us the best fit for our team in Ronnie Brown. Brown is an amazing talent in that he's big, fast, has tremenous hands, and can block like a FB. I'm a little concerned about his durability, but there's no denying his incredible talents.

1 3 Cleveland Braylon Edwards

No brainer here. I'm not that high on Alex Smith, Edwards is by far the best player on the board, and the Browns DESPERATELY need a playmaker on O. Braylon would team with Kellen Winslow and Lee Suggs to give Trent Dilfer a bunch of weapons and would make this an exciting team to watch next season.

1 4 Chicago Cedric Benson

Watch out for the Bears this year regardless of who they take at this spot. They've got a bunch of defensive players coming back from injury and they finally have a weapon in the passing game in Muhsin Muhammad. They also have Thomas Jones who has always had potential, but he's been a major bust up to this point and the Bears need someone who can complement his athleticism with sheer tackle breaking power and consistency and that person is Benson. Lovie would then have a clock grinding running game to team with a nasty D which spells trouble for the NFC North. If Grossman can stay healthy, this team could be the Chargers from last year.

1 5 Tampa Bay Mike Williams

The Bucs need a RB and "Cadillac" Williams would be a perfect fit in Gruden's O, but Mike Williams is just too good a player to pass up at this point. He would team with Michael Clayton to form the biggest starting WR combo in the NFL and they would be a devastating combo in the redzone.

1 6 Tennessee Antrel Rolle

One Rolle gone (Samari), one Rolle in. Antrel is big, fast, and tough and will be a Pro Bowl player for many years to come. Some may question his short area quickness, but his ability to knock WRs off the line and out of their routes overrules that IMO.

1 7 Minnesota (from Oakland) Troy Williamson

Losing Randy Moss is a tremendous loss as his ability to stretch the field and score TDs will be sorely missed, but Troy Williamson could help soften that blow. Willamson may be the least known 1st round pick in this draft, but don't let that fool you. Troy has amazing deep speed and, more importantly, just explodes off the line and into and out of his breaks. He won't be Moss, but he will be a playmaker down the field who should continue to stretch the field for the Vikes' running game.

1 8 Arizona Carnell Williams

No surprise that the Cardinals need a RB and may have to deal up to land one. But in this mock Williams falls right into Denny Green's lap and is an absolute perfect fit for the spread O that Denny likes to run. Williams does have durability and fumbling concers which could haunt him his whole career, but going to Arizona is a perfect fit where the main emphasis will be on the passing attack with Fitzgerald and Boldin. This could instantly make the Cards an offensive force to be reckoned with next season.

1 9 Washington Carlos Rogers

Rogers is as surefire a pick as you'll find in this year's draft. He's big, he's fast, he's quick, and he's been a very productive player throughout his college career. The 'Skins have a lot of needs, but losing Fred Smoot just leaves them too thin at the CB spot and Rogers is just too good a value to pass up at this spot.

1 10 Detroit Derrick Johnson

I can't believe I allowed this to happen, but Derrick Johnson falling to the Lions at #10 would be the steal of the century. But really it's very possible that it will happen this way since no one above them is really in the market for an OLB at this point. It's not even necessarily a need for the Lions either, but the thought of teaming DJ with Teddy Lehman and Boss Bailey is just too exciting to pass up.

1 11 Dallas Shawne Merriman

Demarcus Ware is a strong possibility here if the Cowboys are truly serious about switching to the 3-4, but since the 4-3 is still their base set, Shawne Merriman is the better fit a s 4-3 DE. Merriman is a physical specimen who has the potential to be a MAJOR star at the next level, but he's got to get his head in the game. Too many games I watched of his he'd make a couple of plays and just take the rest of the game off, but Bill Parcells won't let that happen in Big D which is why he's a good fit here.

1 12 San Diego (from New York Giants) Jammal Brown

For as much pub as the San Diego OL got last year you wouldn't think they'd go there in the draft, but honestly those guys overachieved last season and Drew Brees actually got sacked quite a bit. Jammal Brown is my #1 OT prospect on the board and is versatile enough to play either LT or RT which is why he's a great value at #12. They need a WR more, but Brown is just too talented to pass up.

1 13 Houston Thomas Davis

This may be a little early for Thomas Davis, but I truly think he's the playmaking run stuffer at SS that the Texans have been missing since they came into the league. Davis is an absolute beast physically who can intimidate opponents and really be a force against the run and yet is athletic enough to drop back into coverage when necessary. The Texans are on the verge of greatness this season and a playmaker like Davis could be the missing link that puts them over the top.

1 14 Carolina David Pollack

This is just all about value here. David Pollack is my #1 DE and is just too talented to pass up at #14 even though the Panthers don't really need one. Mike Rucker will be the starter on 1st and 2nd down and Pollack will come in on 3rd down as a situational rusher which will give him time to bulk up into a full time starting job.

1 15 Kansas City Matt Roth

This is really early for ROth, but I don't care. The guy is an absolute animal on the field and will bring an intensity and passion to the Chiefs D that is SORELY lacking right now. He might also start out as a situational rusher behind Carlos Hall, but he would undoubtedly be starting by season's end.

1 16 New Orleans Mike Patterson

This is a crappy time for the Saints to be facing a horrible class of DTs. Jonathan Sullivan has been a disappointment so far and they've got to find somebody who can provide some pressure up the middle to take the pressure off their weak CBs. Patterson may be short and small, but he's tenacious and will get after the QB which makes him a necessary pick at this time...even if it's too early.

1 17 Cincinnati David Baas

David Baas is one of the best interior linemen to come out of the draft in quite some time and that's perfect for the Bengals who desperately need a new C after Rich Braham left in FA. Baas would open up some gaping holes in the middle for Rudi Johnson which would then open things up down the field for Carson Palmer and Chad Johnson. The Bengals would instantly become a legit playoff contender with this move.

1 18 Minnesota Elton Brown

Right behind Baas on the interior is Elton Brown who's been one of the most dominating OGs at the college level that I've ever had the pleasure to witness. The guy can pull block like no one else which is amazing considering the guy is 330 lbs! He had some injury problems and didn't show well following the season which could hurt his stock, but I go primarily by what I see on the field and on the field Brown can move and punish people and is the consummate teammate as he sprints downfield to lay extra blocks and congratulate his RB on big gains.

1 19 St. Louis Justin Miller

Justin Miller was arrested this week which is just an incredibly stupid thing to have happen the week before the draft, but the kid's just too talented to drop all that far. He's a little short, but he has great ball skills and can just explode into the ball once it comes in his direction. Nice strong, thick build and incredible quickness make him an unbelievable talent and is a perfect fit for the Rams who badly need help in their secondary.

1 20 Dallas (from Buffalo) Mark Clayton

The Cowboys desperately need help on the offensive side of the ball, especially after using their first pick on D. But more important than getting a talented project for the Cowboys is getting a guy who can come in and start from day 1...and that guy is Mark Clayton. Parcells will love this guy's work ethic and incredible consistency though he lacks the playmaking ability and size to ever be a real superstar at the NFL level.

1 21 Jacksonville Justin Tuck

The Jags dumped Hugh Douglas early last year and Jason Gildon never panned out like they'd hoped. They did sign Marcellus Wiley and Reggie Hayward, but the what the Jags really need is a pass rushing demon to come in on 3rd downs and Justin Tuck fits that mold perfectly. With John Henderson and Marcus Stroud filling up the middle of the line, Tuck would be freed up to concentrate solely on flying to the QB much like JT has done with the Phins over the years. This move could make the Jags instant SB contenders.

1 22 Baltimore Luis Castillo

Moving from 1 DT to 2 in the 4-3, the Ravens need help on the interior and Castillo is the perfect man for the job. He's versatile and athletic enough to shoot the gaps in the 4-3 or, if the 4-3 doesn't work out, he's also stout enough to play the Nose if they go back to the 3-4.

1 23 Seattle Sione Pouha

Pouha is my sleeper pick this year. The guy is an absolute monster physically and gave a jaw-dropping performance at the combine. He's an overaged prospect though as he'll turn 26 this year and he's a bit raw after taking some time off for a church mission a couple years ago, but there's no denying this kid has unbelievable talent. And he's a perfect fit for the Seahawks after Marcus Tubbs was a flop there last year and his age won't be a concern as much with them since their window of opportunity is now rather than 3 or 4 years down the road. Pouha is the type of player who could make a difference for a weak D like the Seahawks immediately.

1 24 Green Bay Charlie Frye

I have Frye rated ahead of Alex Smith which is why Smith keeps dropping on my board. The guy is a perfect fit in Sherman's WCO and will be ready to take over for Favre when he retires in '06.

1 25 Washington (from Denver) Erasmus James

James is the most polished pure pass rusher in this draft so for him to slide all the way to #25 would be an absolute steal. Though it's been widely reported they're targeting Jason Campbell here, a QB just doesn't make sense for this team when they have so many needs elsewhere and already have a relatively young guy in Patrick Ramsey. What the 'Skins DO need is pass rush help and James fits just that bill.

1 26 N.Y. Jets Marlin Jackson

The Jets have needs at both CB and FS which is why Marlin Jackson would be such a perfect fit. Jackson has the speed to play CB but he's also got the size to play FS so he can fill whichever position they find that he fits at the best. It's a little early for Marlin to go off the board, but that versatility to play multiple positions is hard to find.

1 27 Atlanta Reggie Brown

I'm starting to sour on Reggie Brown a bit as I was very high on him during the season. But watching some of the Senior Bowl practices again, he dropped some very catchable balls and just didn't look as smooth as I'd remembered him being during the season. So while it's very possible he drops a long way on draft day, I still like enough of what I saw during the season to make him a good value pick at #27.

1 28 San Diego Marcus Spears

The Chargers run a 3-4 and have a desperate need at DE...so they bring in the best 3-4 DE in the draft! Spears has remarkable athleticism for a guy his size and can really penetrate up the field to get after the QB which is a huge plus from a 3-4 DE. He needs to be more consistent, however, if he hopes last at the NFL level.

1 29 Indianapolis Barrett Ruud

Indy hasn't had a leader in the middle of that D since Mike Peterson left so Barrett Ruud would be a sight for sore eyes there. He's got good size, plays with a high motor, and will be a positive influence on the rest of that shaky D.

1 30 Pittsburgh Heath Miller

Heath Miller could plummet on draft day depending on how concerned teams are over his hernia surgery. That's a very difficult surgery to rehab from so someone's going to have to be very patient with this kid since he may start the year on the PUP list. But the beautiful thing for the Steelers is that they can afford to wait on their 1st round pick since the really don't have any glaring needs right now. Miller would give Roethlisberger a much needed weapon in the passing game now that Plaxico is gone and provides the tough mentality that Cowher loves so much in his players.

1 31 Philadelphia Courtney Roby

Matt Jones is a real possibility here since the Eagles can afford to be patient with him, but I'm just not as high on Jones as most are since the transition he's trying to make is an incredibly difficult one. Sure he looked great in the Senior Bowl practices, but doing that against bump coverage in the NFL is a TOTALLY different experience. So instead, I'll give the Eagles one of the more polished deep threats in this draft. Assuming T.O. reports for the season, the Eagles desperately need a vertical threat to stretch the field and Roby is just the man for the job with his 4.3 speed.

1 32 New England Alex Smith

Yes, that's right, the rich just get richer. Obviously this just won't happen on draft day since Smith is likely to go #1 overall, but on my board he's the #3 QB and he slides all the way to the last pick of the 1st round. The Patriots would then be in position to trade Rohan Davey this year to pick up even more draft selections in '06. And Smith would be able to sit behind Brady while he learns how to run a real NFL offense and if the team can't agree on a long term deal with Tom, then they could actually be in a position to let him go...as crazy as that sounds!

ROUND 2
# Sel# Team Player
1 33 San Francisco J.J. Arrington
2 34 Cleveland Jason Campbell
3 35 Philadelphia (from Miami) Travis Johnson
4 36 Tampa Bay Khalif Barnes
5 37 Tennessee Alex Barron
6 38 Oakland Robert McCune
7 39 Chicago Kevin Burnett
8 40 New Orleans (from Washington) Bryant McFadden
9 41 Detroit Josh Bullocks
10 42 Dallas Channing Crowder
11 43 N.Y. Giants Adam "Pacman" Jones
12 44 Arizona Odell Thurman
13 45 Carolina Adam Terry
14 46 Kansas City Karl Paymah
15 47 Houston Vincent Jackson
16 48 Cincinnati James Butler
17 49 Minnesota Chris Spencer
18 50 St. Louis Tyjuan Hagler
19 51 Green Bay (from New Orleans) Oshiomogho Atogwe
20 52 Jacksonville Alex Smith
21 53 Baltimore Chris Kemoeatu
22 54 Seattle Kirk Morrison
23 55 Buffalo Gerald Sensabaugh
24 56 Denver Demarcus Ware
25 57 N.Y. Jets Anthony Bryant
26 58 Green Bay Logan Mankins
27 59 Atlanta Anthony Alabi
28 60 Indianapolis Fabian Washington
29 61 San Diego Roddy White
30 62 Pittsburgh Marcus Johnson
31 63 Philadelphia Matt Jones
32 64 New England James Kinney

San Fran got their QB #1 and now get their future RB at #33. Cleveland's patience pays off as they passed on Frye and Smith in the 1st and now land the last of the "Big 4" QBs. The dropoff from here to Adrian McPherson is significant. Alex Barron drops to the 2nd b/c he's just plain lazy. All the talent in the world is worthless unless you're determined to use it. Channing Crowder going to the Cowboys would be HUGE. Crowder is the most talented LB in this draft though he comes with some serious baggage...if Parcells can't keep him in line, NOBODY can! I'm not a big "Pacman" fan as you can tell. Tough, solid player, but he's small and he's not a true shutdown CB so I don't see his value in the 1st round. Vincent Jackson is a BEAST. If you're not familiar, he's a 6'5" 238 pound freak who put up insane #s at Northern Colorado. Would be a great fit opposite Andre Johnson in Houston. Demarcus Ware falls to #56 b/c I have no idea where to fit him. He's not a true LB and he's DEFINITELY not big enough to play DE. Would be a good situational pass rusher for Denver though and could transition to RLB as they move to a 3-4. Some have Matt Jones going to Philly in the 1st round, but that's too much of a gamble for my blood so I have him going to them in the 2nd.

ROUND 3
# Sel# Team Player
1 65 San Francisco Jerome Mathis
2 66 St. Louis (from Miami) Adam Snyder
3 67 Cleveland Ronald Bartell
4 68 Tennessee Mike Nugent
5 69 Oakland Matt McCoy
6 70 Miami (from Chicago) Chris Colmer
7 71 Tampa Bay Chris Henry
8 72 Detroit Jonas Seawright
9 73 Houston (from Dallas) Boomer Grigsby
10 74 N.Y. Giants Marion Barber III
11 75 Arizona Domonique Foxworth
12 76 Denver (from Washington) Vincent Fuller
13 77 Philadelphia (from Kansas City) Liam Ezekiel
14 78 Houston Wesley Britt
15 79 Carolina J.R. Russell
16 80 Minnesota Evan Mathis
17 81 St. Louis Brandon Browner
18 82 New Orleans Rian Melander
19 83 Cincinnati Darrell Shropshire
20 84 Baltimore Hamzah Abdullah
21 85 Seattle Adrian McPherson
22 86 Buffalo Kevin Everett
23 87 Jacksonville Matt Sinclair
24 88 N.Y. Jets Michael Boley
25 89 Green Bay Mark Bradley
Denver (Forfeited)
27 90 Atlanta Shaun Cody
28 91 Tampa Bay (from San Diego) Eric Green
29 92 Indianapolis Jovan Haye
30 93 Pittsburgh Kay Jay Harris
31 94 Philadelphia Adam Bergen
32 95 Arizona (from New England) Brodney Pool
33 96 Tennessee (Compensatory Selection) Fred Gibson
34 97 Denver (Compensatory Selection) Corey Webster
35 98 Seattle (Compensatory Selection) Dan Cody
36 99 Kansas City (Compensatory Selection) Justin Beriault
37 100 New England (Compensatory Selection) Nick Kaczur
38 101 Denver (Compensatory Selection) C.J. Brooks

San Fran goes 1, 2, 3 with the skill positions as they now land the fastest player in the draft to line up opposite Rashaun Woods. Mike Nugent has 1st round talent, but I just can't take a K higher than the 3rd round. Liam Ezekiel is one of my favorite players in this draft. Big, tough, aggressive, and instinctive, Liam can step in and start day 1 for the Eagles in the middle. Wesley Britt falls b/c of injury concerns, but he's a solid 2nd round talent who has time to heal in Houston behind Seth Wand. Can you think of a better place for Adrian McPherson to end up than in Seattle? He can sit and learn for a few years behind Hasselbeck and then he'll push Matt out the door in year 3. Shaun Cody makes the biggest freefall of all b/c I have no idea where he'll end up. He's not stout enough to stay at DT and he's not quick enough to play DE. He'll probably have to wind up as a 3-4 DE which will hurt his stock. Kay Jay Harris is a Jerome Bettis clone and is the perfect player to bring in as his replacement. Dan Cody appears to be falling as well...except for the fact that it's not considered a fall when you go in the round where your talent should go. Cody is WAY too small to play DE and he's not athletic enough to play LB.

ROUND 4
# Sel# Team Player
1 102 San Francisco Jason Brown
2 103 Cleveland Daryl Blackstock
3 104 Miami Andrew Walter
4 105 Oakland Travis Daniels
5 106 Chicago Earvin Johnson
6 107 Tampa Bay David Williams
7 108 Tennessee Justin Geisinger
8 109 Dallas Calvin Armstrong
9 110 N.Y. Giants Lynn McGruder
10 111 Arizona Steve Fleming
11 112 Washington Jamar Enzor
12 113 Detroit Bill Swancutt
13 114 Houston Chris Canty
14 115 Carolina LeRoy Hill
15 116 Kansas City Terrence Murphy
16 117 St. Louis Van Brown
17 118 New Orleans Marcus Lawrence
18 119 Cincinnati Rian Wallace
19 120 Minnesota Jerome Carter
20 121 Seattle Roscoe Parrish
21 122 Buffalo Michal Munoz
22 123 Jacksonville Adam Seward
23 124 Baltimore Marcus Maxwell
24 125 Green Bay David Bergeron
25 126 Seattle (from Denver through Cleveland) Lofa Tatupu
26 127 N.Y. Jets Dan Buenning
27 128 Atlanta Ryan Moats
28 129 Indianapolis Jay Ratliff
29 130 San Diego Scott Young
30 131 Pittsburgh Chase Lyman
31 132 Philadelphia Jonathan Babineaux
32 133 New England Junius Coston
33 134 St. Louis (Compensatory Selection) Gino Guidugli
34 135 Indianapolis (Compensatory Selection) Ciatrick Fason
35 136 Tennessee (Compensatory Selection) Vernand Morency

We land a 1st round talent in the 4th round thanks to Walter's injury...HOORAY! Bill Swancutt isn't that athletic or fast which is why he falls, but this guy's motor is top 10 material and he would be a great fit on that terrific Detroit DL. Chris Canty is your prototypical 3-4 DE and would be tremendous value for the Chargers in the 4th round. If healthy, Michael Munoz has 1st round talent and could step in immediately and replace Jonas Jennings at LT. Ryan Moats is an explosive player but he may be too small to be a starter in the NFL. But he's a perfect fit in Atlanta where he can team with T.J. Duckett as a future replacement for Warrick Dunn. Chase Lyman could be the steal of this draft as he's got tremendous size/speed but will fall b/c of injury concerns. Gino Guidugli is exactly the type of QB that Mike Martz looks to run his O.

ROUND 5
# Sel# Team Player
1 137 San Francisco Jeb Huckeba
2 138 Miami Chad Owens
3 139 Cleveland Frank Omiyale
4 140 Chicago Pat Estes
5 141 Tampa Bay Airese Curry
6 142 Tennessee Dan Orlovsky
7 143 Green Bay (from Oakland) Kyle Eckel
8 144 Tampa Bay (from New York Giants through San Diego) David Stewart
9 145 New England (from Arizona) Matt Ulrich
10 146 Philadelphia (from Washington) Michael Roos
11 147 Kansas City (from Detroit) Trent Cole
12 148 Dallas Mitch Meeuwsen
13 149 Carolina Victor Sesay
14 150 Kansas City Leon Robinson
15 151 Houston Anttaj Hawthorne
16 152 New Orleans James Sanders
17 153 Cincinnati Daven Holly
18 154 Minnesota Derrick Johnson
19 155 St. Louis Trai Essex
20 156 Buffalo Jim Davis
21 157 Jacksonville Tony Madison
22 158 Baltimore Derek Anderson
23 159 Seattle Ben Wilkerson
24 160 Atlanta (from Denver) Michael Hawkins
25 161 N.Y. Jets Dustin Fox
26 162 Kansas City (from Green Bay) Kyle Orton
27 163 Atlanta Alex Bell
28 164 San Diego Sarth Benoit
29 165 Indianapolis Todd Herremans
30 166 Pittsburgh Stanley Wilson
31 167 Philadelphia Jordan Beck
32 168 Arizona (from New England) Sean Considine
33 169 Carolina (Compensatory Selection) Zach Tuiasosopo
34 170 New England (Compensatory Selection) Alphonso Hodge
35 171 Carolina (Compensatory Selection) Chris Myers
36 172 Philadelphia (Compensatory Selection) Jonathan Dunn
37 173 Indianapolis (Compensatory Selection) Nick Speegle
38 174 San Francisco (Compensatory Selection) Dustin Powell

Chad Owens is the most exciting player in this draft to watch and would be a great fit in Miami as a much needed Slot receiver and PR. Kyle Eckel is a perfect fit in Green Bay and is a tremendous talent in the 5th round assuming he doesn't have to serve in the Navy. Anttaj Hawthorne's dope bust drops him all the way to the 5th round where he could be a STEAL for the Texans. Michael Hawkins is one of the most raw prospects in this draft, but with his ridiculous size/speed he has the potential to be a major star and would be a great fit in Atlanta where he can sit and learn for a while. Kyle Orton reminds me a lot of Trent Green...so why not pick him to replace his likeness! Remember the name Sarth Benoit. Dude is HUGE and FAST and would be a perfect fit as an ILB in a 3-4 where he can take on blockers or drop into coverage as needed.

ROUND 6
# Sel# Team Player
1 175 San Francisco Nehemiah Broughton
2 176 Cleveland Alfred Fincher
3 177 San Diego (from Miami) C.J. Mosley
4 178 Tampa Bay Kurt Campbell
5 179 Tennessee Tommy Manus
6 180 Green Bay (from Oakland) Bo Scaife
7 181 Chicago Stanford Routt
8 182 Oakland (from Arizona) Jeremy Parquet
9 183 Washington Santonio Thomas
10 184 Detroit Joel Dreesen
11 185 Oakland (from Dallas) Mike Wright
12 186 N.Y. Giants Scott Mruczkowski
13 187 Kansas City Tony Brown
14 188 Houston Ellis Hobbs
15 189 Carolina Jonathan Welsh
16 190 Cincinnati Kenneth Pettway
17 191 Minnesota Jimmy Verdon
18 192 St. Louis Atiyyah Ellison
19 193 New Orleans Darrell Reid
20 194 Jacksonville Willie Amos
21 195 Baltimore Alex Holmes
22 196 Seattle T.A. McLendon
23 197 Buffalo Eric Shelton
24 198 N.Y. Jets Tory Humphrey
25 199 Kansas City (from Green Bay) Dustin Colquitt
26 200 Denver A.J. Lindsay
27 201 Atlanta Brandon Jones
28 202 Indianapolis Mike Erickson
29 203 Tampa Bay (from San Diego) David Greene
30 204 Pittsburgh Will Svitek
31 205 San Francisco (from Philadelphia) Curtis Williams
32 206 New England Matthew Tant
33 207 Carolina (Compensatory Selection) Brandon Jacobs
34 208 Dallas (Compensatory Selection) Darren Sproles
35 209 Dallas (Compensatory Selection) Marcus Jasmin
36 210 St. Louis (Compensatory Selection) Erik Pears
37 211 Philadelphia (Compensatory Selection) Maurice Clarett
38 212 Oakland (Compensatory Selection) Tony Jackson
39 213 Baltimore (Compensatory Selection) Anthony Madison
40 214 Oakland (Compensatory Selection) Diamond Ferri

Tommy Manus could fill a need for the Titans at either TE or WR...he could be a steal in the 6th round if a team can find a spot for him. Bo Scaife is a tremendous receiver at TE and would provide yet another major weapon for Favre in that O. Mike Wright is an undersized DT, but he'd be a good fit in Oakland where they need DTs moving to the 4-3 and he'd provided a great pass rush. T.A. McLendon has first round talent but 6th round desire and injury history, but he could end up being Shaun Alexander's replacement next year. David Greene is the smart, accurate QB that Gruden needs to run his O. Brandon Jacobs is a monster who could team up Deshaun Foster to form a powerful 1-2 punch in Carolina. Darren Sproles reminds me a lot of Dave Meggett, so who better to use him as such than Meggett's former coach in Parcells? The Eagles finally make the gamble on Mo Clarett late in the 6th round where he could be a TD presence subbing for Brian Westbrook.

ROUND 7
# Sel# Team Player
1 215 San Francisco Ernest Shazor
2 216 Miami Dave McMillan
3 217 Cleveland Simon Fraser
4 218 Tennessee Reggie Harrell
5 219 Minnesota (from Oakland) Jason Randall
6 220 Chicago John Drake
7 221 Tampa Bay Jonathan Nichols
8 222 Washington Anthony Curtis
9 223 Detroit Craphonso Thorpe
10 224 Dallas Cole Magner
11 225 Tampa Bay (from New York Giants) Albert Means
12 226 Arizona Bryce Benekos
13 227 Houston Rich Demers
14 228 Pittsburgh (from Carolina) Chris Solomona
15 229 Kansas City J'Vonne Parker
16 230 Minnesota Lester Brown
17 231 St. Louis Rob Hunt
18 232 New Orleans Stefan Lefors
19 233 Cincinnati Rob Petitti
20 234 Baltimore Maurice Lloyd
21 235 Seattle Darrent Williams

Simon Fraser will only fit at DE in a 3-4 which will limit his stock, but whenever he does go he'll be a steal with his tough work ethic and intense motor. John Drake is a monster and could be a terror in Chicago's power running attack, but he's got to find a way to stay healthy and keep his weight down. Cole Magner is a tough, extremely quick, sure handed WR who could be the next Ricky Proehl and will be a major factor on ST. Stefan Lefors may be short, but this kid's got heart and with his athleticism and amazing accuracy he could be a tremendous BU in the NFL. Adrian Awasom doesn't have top speed which will drop his value and may make him an UDFA, but the kid will chase plays down clear across the field and just doesn't stop till the whistle blows. Timmy Chang is the most prolific passer in college football history and has more talent than most people think. He's short and doesn't have an overly strong arm, but he's got a lighting quick release, knows how to read Ds, and has the athleticism to escape a rush and would be a great fit behind Brees and Rivers in San Diego. Richie Incognito is a MAJOR risk and isn't the type of player that the Patriots usually target, but he's too good a talent for them to pass up in the late 7th round. John Fanene is my Mr. Irrelevant, but he actually has a shot of being RELEVANT as a 3-4 DE with some pass rushing potential.

He's a good dude. He writes some great stuff that I get to put up on my site.
