All I wanted to do is play outside today as it's beautiful.....nooooo, too much stinkin' other stuff to do. Ton o' laundry due to it not getting done this weekend and Kate and Manda startled Sandy when they came home last night--I knew there was a reason why Sandy wasn't sleeping on "her end of the couch" when I woke up this morning. So even more laundry to throw on the pile.
And I got so far behind with housework with Al home and me working in the dining room. Brought the geraniums inside during the last freeze warning and I NEED to get them back outside so I can reclaim my family room a bit so I can vacuum!
Meanwhile, my rooted impatience slips are calling to be planted. Tomorrow if it doesn't rain!!
Hi all...it's a beautiful day here with temps in the mid-upper 70's. Over the weekend it was close to 90 with high humidity. UGH. Very uncomfortable.
I took a walk this morning downtown to pay the water bill at City Hall and then walked down Broadway (our main shopping district). Stopped in several stores pricing/looking at stuff. Bought a couple of curtain rods and a birthday card for my dsd, and some other stuff.
Just got back from visiting Wendy's to get a Frosty. Dh came with me and we sat in the parking lot drinking/spooning them. lol
Have Jambalaya in the cp for dinner. Hope it's good.
Sorry that I have been gone for so long but have really been busy. We are settle in now and I have 10 tomato plants in containers doing super well. We have already had our first harvest of fresh groen radishes and lettuce. Tomorrow we will be eating some brocolli (sp?).
We have been attending a really nice church in our area and are thinking of joining. We really like the church and the people there. I bought a new digital camera. It is not a super duper one or anything. It is a Canon PowerShot A590 IS. I really like it, though I am still learning so much because it is so much more involved than my old one.
Here are two fairly recent pics I took with it. The catfish are what I caught a couple of weeks ago.
I hope that everyone is doing ok these days. Hubby is going to be having hip replacement surgery once they get done with all of the tests and all. The VA is doing it for him. He also got some hearing aids. Thank God for that!!:clapping:
(ok SL/BD my rear end is hurting from the spanking already).
The dailies are not places for this type of post.
Apart from your posts, everyone else sticks to the fact of adding to the days post in the dailies forum or it is posted in one of the more relevant board options if expansion is required.
Nice pics btw.
Yeah, great to hear you are back, but that could have been tagged onto the Monday thread or you could have started a tuesday thread.
I am sorry, but this is where I used to post. I didn't realize that you had changed things so much. I will take my leave and leave ya'll alone and apologize for bothering you.

Julie, Christopher is unlike you who couldn't bear the 90+ temps that summer in NJ! lol Glad to hear he is loving the US. I'm sorry to hear about Andrew's feet however. Prayers you get the right answers.
