Ok, I'm posting this for all our poets out there. This is a game that I used to play with my poet friends all the time. It's a game that would help challenge our creativity with poems. Basically the First Person comes up with a single line and everyone tries to make up a Poem using that line. With this one, the title was actually the line that was given to us. It was most fitting for what I had written. And now here is what I wrote for the challenge:
I felt my heart bleeding when you kissed me.
I knew it was all just an angered dream,
Pushed down by my hatred of hope.
Sorrow was set in my soul by your lies,
As you cheated with the girl of blue eyes.
Did her eyes define you,
As did mine in the shadows of the night?
I detest you with hatred of delight.
If anyone is interested in doing something like this, we might be able to convince Liz to give us a Poetry Gaming area.
