Tomorrow Will Be Here Soon

Yesterday is gone,
So let it go.
Today is where you live,
The place your life does flow.
Tomorrow will be here soon.

Yesterday shaped you
Into what you are today.
But today will let you be
More than you’ve ever prayed.
Tomorrow will be here soon.

Yesterday is a memory
Albeit part of you.
Today is a new memory
And the future a dream come true.
Tomorrow will be here soon.

Dwell in the past
That’s dead or gone lame,
You kill today with your thoughts
And the future will be the same.
Tomorrow will be here soon.

Wins or losses,
Yesterday is askew.
Today is a new game.
Forget the past and play anew.
Tomorrow will be here soon.

Yesterday has shaped me
Into something I detest.
But today I can make me
Into something that is best.
Tomorrow will be here soon.

Since yesterday made me
And the past is not the best.
Today is a new day
That doesn’t depend on the rest.
Tomorrow will be here soon.

Make yesterday forgotten.
A new day is at hand.
New trials, new joys, new everything.
It’s time to change the plan.
Tomorrow will be here soon.

Learn from your mistakes
Don’t live in the past.
Live today for the future,
It will be here rather fast.
Tomorrow will be here soon.

You can regret the past,
Don’t make it your life.
Live today to make it full
Of memories without strife.
Tomorrow will be here soon.

Today is here.
Yesterday is past.
Live your life for the future
With new memories that will last.
Tomorrow will be here soon.

Don’t live in the past.
Live in the now.
You’ve made it thus far,
You’ll make the future some how.

Learn the lessons
From times that are past.
Use what you know
To make today last.

Yesterday is history.
Today is at hand.

When you make that your plan.

Thanks. It just seemed that I might have belabored the point.

It was written for a couple of us that had a life-altering situation and it was not only forced but hurt alot....still need to move on.
