Plextor PX-708A DVD±R/RW CDR-R/RW Internal Drive Video Review @ 3DGameMan
"This product can not only burn DVD±R/RW media, but also CD-R/RW. What sets this drive apart from others on the market is its ability to write at DVD+R 8x speeds; that's 4.38 GIG's of data in about 8 minutes. Thankfully this burner is media friendly and that means almost any type of media can be used."

WESTERN DIGITAL DOUBLES WD RAPTOR @ WesternDigital
"Western Digital Corp. (NYSE: WDC) today announced that it is enhancing the throughput, performance and capacity of its popular enterprise-class Serial ATA (SATA) 10,000 RPM WD Raptor hard drives, offering enterprise customers an increasingly compelling reason to reduce the cost of their storage. The next-generation WD Raptor drives offer 74 GB and performance-boosting Ultra/150 Command Queuing (Ultra/150 CQ) technology, as well as Rotary Accelerometer Feed Forward (RAFF) technology -- all at significantly less cost than comparable SCSI drives -- and establish Western Digital with the broadest SATA lineup for enterprise applications. The company expects to begin shipment of the new WD Raptor drives with Ultra/150 CQ in November of this year."

BIOS Savior Review @ CyberCPU
"Probably one of the most important parts of the computer is the BIOS (Basic Input/Output System). The BIOS is the heart of your motherboard and without it your computer could not even post. I like to keep my BIOS up to date but if you flash your BIOS all the time the smallest mistake can leave your rig worthless. The BIOS savior is the best way I have seen to stop the mistakes in their tracks by adding redundancy to your BIOS. If for any reason your BIOS doesn't flash correctly, like the power going out in the middle of flashing it, all you have to do is flip a switch and you can boot off of your backup BIOS so you can repair the failed one."

ASUS A7N8X-X Motherboard Review @ OCAddiction
"A quick glance at the motherboard looks strikingly similar to the older brother A7N8X Deluxe. The first apparent difference is the all black DIMM slots. Due to the lack of dual channel support, Asus colored all the DIMM slots black. This indication shows that no matter how your memory sticks are arranged, no dual channel support will be given. A more detailed look shows that the board is without the Silicone SATA controller."

Coolermaster Aero 7+ Review @ FastLaneHW
"Over the years, many cooler companies have come out with gimmicky coolers in their failed attempts to get lower temps than the traditional block of metal + axial fan combo. Today we show off the Coolermaster Aero 7+, a rather unique approach to aircooling, as it uses a blower-type fan instead of an axial fan. Will the Aero 7+ prove itself a great performer, toppling the mighty SLK-800/SF2 combo? Read on and find out."

X-Micro APEX Flash Stick @ ThinkComputers
"Carrying floppy disks around can be such a pain. They are larger than a credit card and can hardly hold that much information. Most people do not even have floppy drives in their computers, I have not had a floppy drive in my main computer for over a year. The reason for this is because if I would have to transfer data from one computer to another(home to school) I would either e-mail it to myself or burn it to a cd. This is always not the best way. Some e-mail providers only allow a certain amount of data to be stored and you do not want to waste a cd just for 50MB of data. Well if you have not heard of flash drives then today you will learn what they are. They are nothing new, but with USB 2.0 coming out there has been a lot of new products on the market. Today we will be looking at X-Mirco's APEX Flash Stick."

Enermax CS-EN5688 Case Review @ 3dXtreme
"Today 3dXtreme has the great pleasure of reviewing one of the new Enermax CS-EN5688/517 cases. These cases come in a variety of colors, configurations and options. Like yellow? Sure you can have that, how about blue? Yup, they have that too. Will white fit your décor better? Guess what, Enermax has thought of you too. Each of the cases in this series comes with a prefabed plexi-glass side panel window, lots of fan holes, front USB connections, High Gloss Automotive Paint finish and front access I/O audio jacks. That's just the tip of the iceberg; did I mention they are also aluminum? So a great looking case out of the box, that's not only light weight but also sexy and sheik."

Zalman CNPS6000-Cu Heatsink Review @ Furioustech
"Heatsinks, keep your processor from becoming a charcoal briquette, I don’t generally use the OEM ones that come with your processor. It is prudent to keep it incase a warranty situation that arises. This will be my first review of a Zalman product, the CNPS6000-Cu heatsink. I would like to thank Dave Williamson of Quiet PC USA for the sample in this review. Most of us realize that heat reduction is important task for the computer enthusiast, especially when overclocking your processor. With air cooling you have two things to consider how hot your processor is going to get and how much air flow that you are going to put across your heatsink. Usually more air generated by the fan, the higher the RPM which in turn creates a lot of noise. Well Zalman has products that perform well and don’t make you deaf at the same time. So let's tone this down a bit and get to the review."

Geil Platinum PC4000 2 x 512mb @ SubZerotech
"Just a short while ago I reviewed the Geil Golden Dragon PC3500 dual channel kit. As you may know the kit wowed me with the new module design and overall packaging quality and module appearance. The Golden Dragon series in my opinion is one of the premier series of memory modules available today. However, at the time those modules were limited to an overclock of about 240MHz on my Pentium 4 875 system. Now GEIL has done it again with their new Platinum DDR500 series. These modules, unlike the Corsair DDR500 modules I recently reviewed feature a CAS latency of 2.5/7-4-4 in contrast to the Corsair 3/8-4-4. What this means is speedier response and perhaps more rich bandwidth. And of course GEIL doesn’t disappoint with some spectacular packaging and knockout good looks (the platinum name comes from the Platinum heat spreaders installed on the modules!)."

Black Cube 450W Power Supply Review @ HardwareZoom
"Other than the 8 molex connectors, there is also two ATX12 and two smaller power connectors for device such as floppy drives. The longest cable is about 1m long, which should be enough to reach every corner of a full tower casing. At the back of the casing, there is a 80mm exhaust fan rated at 0.20A@12V. There is a power switch and power input next to it. Similar to many high power PSUs, there isn't any power output socket for the monitor."

fUnc Surface 1030 Mouse Pad Review @ GruntvillE
"I admit it... I’m a gamer. I absolutely love firing up my favorite game and putting my latest Overclock to the test. But when it comes to gaming, your rig isn’t the only thing that will determine how good you can be. Your mouse pad will play a lot into your accuracy and movement in a game. Which brings me to the mouse pad, or should I say mouse Surface known as the fUnc pad or Surface 1030. I bought this mouse surface almost 7 months ago. This isn’t just something a vendor sent in with hopes of a good review. So sit back and keep an eye on your current mouse surface and see if it stacks up to what the fUnc has to offer."

6-Way 1GB DDR500 Round-up @ Legit Reviews
"Have you ever taken the time to read a review on a product and later purchased it only to find out that the reviewers got hand picked "special" samples? Yeah, we know it happens, and quite often we (insiders) purchase something on our own that is very different from the samples that were sent to us. After being fed up we set off to purchase every brand of DDR500 memory that was available in America one month ago from some online retailers and put them through basic testing and stability testing to show you which is the best brand of memory for end users.
