(MP100A) Microscope Pen Review @ ExtensionTech

"Technically, this item is a gadget to me, since it has absolutely nothing to do with PC's. I will be using this Microscope Pen to assist me in some examinations in the future, and I can very easily see where this product can, and should be used. Continue on as I look at this 100x magnification portable microscope."

Gigabyte GA-8S648FX Motherboard Review @ Legit Reviews

"Today we are posting a review on a motherboard which contains a chipset that does not get a lot of publicity. Is the SiS 648FX chipset a hidden secret? Today we will take a look and see if the SiS 648FX chipset has been overlooked. We will be giving our usual detailed motherboard review on the Gigabyte GA-8S648FX motherboard that is based on the SiS 648FX chipset paired with the SiS 963UA southbridge. IceMat Review @ WildReviews

"This mouse pad is very unique, I am not even too sure if I should refer to it as a mouse pad, or by what it is called, and IceMat. Either way, its great!"

Plextor PlexWriter PX-504UF review @ DesignTechnica

"The PlexWriter PX-504UF is a great drive. Plextor has included a robust feature set with plenty off extras in the form of software and recordable media. Write and read times are solid as is the reliability of burn. The PlexWriter PX-504UF looks nice both when sitting alone and using the drive stand and would look good sitting on your desk. If only the internal fan was not so loud, we would have given the PlexWriter PX-504UF our editor's choice award. If noise is not a major concern for you and portability is, look no further than the PlexWriter PX-504UF."

Wayvet CoolingKing Water Cooling Kit Review @ MODTHEBOX

"The Clamping Master clipping mechanism consists of 3 clips and lugs that are to be set to a different weight depending on the platform chosen. Referring to the user manual calls for a total of 20 lbs of pressure to be applied to an AMD platform. This is divided into 12 lbs on the center lug, and 4 lbs on each remaining lug, which can be easily set using the labeled Clamping Master clips. Each clip slides into a dedicated groove located on top of the water block to ensure proper alignment. Using the thumb size grips on each clamp provided for a rather easy installation."

Vantec Vibration Dampener Kits @ ThinkComputers

"Noise is the constant enemy of the ever increasing number of computer modders emerging in our culture. Hard drives and optical drives are a contributor to this, but the single largest source is from fans. Fans create noise because air moves. Air moving creates vibration, and vibration is noise. So, if we can cut out vibration we can, in theory, reduce the amount of noise in a case. Vantec's solution to this is somewhat different from normal means. They propose a way to reduce noise that attacks it at the vibration level, not the air level. Their silica-gel grommets are designed to absorb the vibrations that cause rattles against a case by fans and power supplies."

Gainward FX 5200 Powerpack PCI Card @ The Modfathers

"Much to my surprise this little PCI card did overclock, and with an increase of 68MHz on the core, that is by a respectable amount."

Logitech Cordless Comfort Duo Review @ VH

"Logitech has also been making "natural" keyboards - they call it their "Split-key keyboard", and it's basically the same idea as most other ergonomic keyboards you've seen. And, obviously there is a market for such keyboards even if I've never really fancied them, otherwise why else would the makers continue to produce them? Not only that, but, not wanting to leave ergonomic-conscious people behind, Logitech has decided to couple their "Split-key keyboard" with not only a mouse, but cordless technology as well. With cordless/wireless products becoming increasingly widespread because of drops in price and availability from retailers, it was only 'natural' that this kind of keyboard would reap the benefits of the consumer-driven market. And so was born the Cordless Comfort Duo. Can this combination satisfy strained users' wrists while at the same time providing a nice keyboard feel, a decent mouse and a lag/delay-free experience."

Vantec Spectrum UV LED Fans @ OCIA

"When I took the fan out of the package I noticed something right away that I liked. Vantec chose not to use the wraparound electric band to supply power to the LEDs. The power to the LEDs is carried via a channel in the bracing between the fan body and motor. In my opinion there is less chance of damage with the wires running in the channel."

Dual CCFL Fan Grill Review @ GruntvillE

"You can bet that almost every modder has a few clear LED fans to light up their mod. One problem with the clear LED fans is that there is not much flexibility. There aren’t many LED fans out that push mad CFM's compared to a Vantec Tornado or TT Smart Fan 2. This becomes a problem. Function vs. Style, a choice often made by modders. Lamps Electronics has the product to end this miserable decision. The Cold Cathode Fan Light is a CCFL that will attach to any 80mm fan of YOUR choice."

AMD XP 2600+ good budget overclocker? @ TechTastic

"Today we thought we would have some fun with an xp 2600+ amd processor. The xp 2600+ with the 333mhz frontside bus is the cheapest priced of the thoroughbred B athlon processors, and we're gonna test to see if this could be a nice budget overclocker."

Logisys Acrylic LED Case Feet Review @ ExtensionTech

"Everyone could relate to this product in some way. It is one of three "L's". Love it, like it, or leave it, that is. I definitely like it, and I as I write this, and think more of it, I love these case feet! I can see with some future modifications, and tons of possibilities for this to maybe even become a future standard of pre-modded cases. Read on as I examine a new concept in mainstream PC modding."

TweakMonster RAMsinks Review @ CoolTechZone

"TweakMonster is not counted in the big list. They don’t compete with ThermalTake or Thermalright but that doesn’t mean that they don’t make good quality products. Sapphire Radeon 9800 Pro "Ultimate Edition" @ TweakTown

"You may remember not too long ago when we took a look at a Radeon 9700 Pro video board that made the distinctive claim of being totally silent. That board was from a manufacturer called Sapphire, and used an innovative heatpipe cooling assembly that is completely passive. With the power of one of the worlds most powerful video boards and the concept of total silence, the board made a huge hit with the enthusiast crowd."

Asetek WaterChill Watercooler Kit @ DWPG

"Despite reduction in manufacturing size, the amount of power modern CPUs require continues to increase. The end-result is that more heat is being dissipated off smaller surfaces and this requires the CPU coolers to perform that much better, especially when overclocking a hot AMD XP or Pentium 4. This makes water-based cooling more and more attractive -- Enter Asetek WaterChill."

Gainward FX 5200 Powerpack PCI Card @ TMF

"There I was in the land of heaven with two CoolFX's in my possession even if I could not fire them up at that stage as the CPU blocks had not arrived. So you would expect there to be some level of disappointment when as the systems with the un-used cards left my house, that I was handed a PCI card and asked if I would review it. However, I live in the land of multi-screens, so anything that could enhance that is nothing but a bonus for me. Also this is not just a PCI card , but it is one built by Gainward, so it does come with some level of expectations. Lastly, it is the first review of this card, it is so new that when I asked Gainward UK how good it was they admitted that they had not had it long enough to put it into a system yet."

AOpen AK77-600 Max Motherboard Review @ PCSTats

"VIA's latest chipset is currently the KT600, a chipset that in all honesty is about one year too late. VIA should have released the KT600 last year in place of the KT400/KT400A chipsets. Had they done this it would probably have been enough for VIA to keep most of their AMD market share. Amazing as it seems, the year old nForce2 is still faster and more advanced then the KT600."

"SilverStone is a new Taiwanese company, but most of the member have a strong background in aluminum cases and power supplies. At the moment SilverStone has three product lines ; Cases (towers for gaming market, desktop for hometheather PC's, and also server cases.), power supplies (low noise PSU, and within few months PSUs with no fan), and also accessory (at the moment a card reader and fans)."
